Poor Amy Winehouse just can’t seem to catch a break.
The latest? The embattled drug addict has been arrested in connection with an investigation into “perverting the course of justice.” (Whatever that means!)
Amy was arrested “by appointment” at a police station in east London today. In other words, it was not an unexpected move.
As you may recall, Wino’s poisonous hubby Blake Fielder-Civil was arrested for the same charge (in addition to grievous bodily harm against a pub landlord) last month.
Rumour has it police might have an interest in any allegation about Amy’s potential involvement. Either that or she’s deserately trying to reunite with her beau in jail.

UPDATE: Police questioned the 24-year-old singer and released her without filing charges, her publicist said in a statement. “She attended a police station voluntarily and at a pre-agreed time,” the statement said. “She was arrested but that is common practice for someone being interviewed by police.”

Winehouse, 24, recently canceled all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year on doctor’s orders. Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was ordered held in custody in London last month on charges of perverting the course of justice stemming from a case in which he is accused of assaulting a barman in June.

Fielder-Civil allegedly tried to interfere with a witness’ testimony, according to court documents.

No, Blake got arrested trying to pay $500,000 to the victim he attacked for him to drop charges before the court case … he nearly killed a guy in a bar due to serious head injuries … he deserves everything he gets & seeing he is a loser without a job then it’s obvious amy had something to do with it b/c she’s the only one that has access to $500K …
I could totally see her and Blake doing a suicide pact. That’s so freaky…I hope before it comes to that that they will sort themselves out. Going to jail would be the best thing for her, she would have to come off the drugs cold turkey and would get some time out from that whole scene that she’s in. It’s really sad because I don’t think she realises just how bad she is and looks to the outside world.
