CELEBRITY QUOTE OF THE DAY

denis-leary-quote.jpg

“White men have screwed this country up! I would like a black, female…. everything all rolled into one. I want something different. I want a real change. … People, I want a president who speaks well, who has a sense of humour. This guy is such a moron! It’s beyond the point where it’s a joke. He’s an idiot.”

Rescue Me star Denis Leary expresses a few choice words for President Bush this morning on The View

i don’t know his politics, truthfully, i wouldn’t be surprised to see him have conservative beliefs in areas. i always loved the guy’s comedy…but this is an incredibly retarded comment.
libs have gone against mlk jr’s credo of judging others on their content of character, and not the color of skin (or gender etc).
this election is all about affirmative action gone awry and dominating people’s psyches.
the fact is, as far as those who’ve ’screwed up the country; race and gender is not mutually exclusive to the ’screwing up’ part. would he say this in reverse if that were true? no he wouldn’t say blacks and women have screwed it up, nor would he say that white men made this country great. in turn, replacing political leaders with new skin colors and vajayjays will have nothing to do with a seachange. it’s an illusion. it’s about individuals and i resent his blanket statements.

Adam, you’re thinking way too much about it. That was hilarious and true!

Adam do you always just lurk around until something negative is posted about the Administration and then all of the sudden you are hot fire?

no. i just don’t have anything to say usually about posh and kat heigl. i did say something about brad pitt above and rufus moore or whatever her name is (demi’s child).
btw, i didn’t take offense to the slam on the admin. they deserve it at this point. and that’s clear in my postings.
vote obama! then you can’t possibly be a racist! show your tolerance. hussein obama in 08.

Why is it that you can be called “smart” for calling the President of the United States “a moron,” or “an idiot?”

He’s neither of those things, people. You don’t get to be President by being an idiot or a moron. You can disagree with his politics or the way he’s played the hand he’s been dealt and still be respectful of the man. I expect people like Dennis Leary to say stuff like that in a bar, but not on national TV. To me, it’s just another example of how coarse we’ve let our politics become and it reflects badly on him for saying it, and us for not calling him on it.

No, you get to be President by your brother being the Governor of Florida, and fucking with the ballots.
Publius, the man is a fucking idiot.

Publius, Bush got to be President based on voters’ ignorance and being idiots. He is an idiot propped up by many things. If it weren’t for 9/11 and the shameful scare tactics used afterwards, he would be a one term joke instead of a disastrous two term joke. I would expect anyone with a brain and ethics to be screaming from the rooftops about the horror of this presidency. Bush doesn’t deserve the respect of a monkey.

what hairball said. it’s america’s own fault by being so ignorant as to vote this man in!!! TWO times! also, the fact that kerry was a weak candidate is a factor. dont get me wrong, i voted for kerry anyway. i was too young to vote the first election though, unfortunately.

It always amazes me that the so-called liberals are some of the most intolerant, superficial, hateful and hurtful people. I find it ironic and hypocritical that this group of people, all while claiming they are pro-everything and supposedly overly-generous are so outrageously narrow-minded and self-centered.

  18. December-18-2007 @ 5:03 pm

    well said Dennis…well said…..

lo, this may be true, but definitely think the so-called ‘Christians’ and conservatives who are supposedly for ‘family values’ and ‘values’ have an extremely sad and hypocritical way of showing it and top so called ‘liberals’. When you have a government this f*cked up, pretty sad anyone with a conscience who would support them. So sorry, not tolerate of any remaining few who actually think Bush and Republicans in Congress are doing a good job. It either tells me: 1. Too ignorant to know the facts 2. Know the facts and agree. Either way, not interested in being tolerant of people like that.

It also amazes me how some people choose to group and label every christian together and not consider that perhaps, just perhaps, there are some out there who say they are christian and choose not to live as they should. it’s rather short-sighted and doesn’t take a whole lot of intelligence to do so. Thanks for proving the limited intelligence of some…limited intelligence tends to go right along with limited rationality and an abundance of excuses as to why one is right rather than considering the whole picture. I applaud you.

lo, thank you. FYI, you might want to pass your memo on to the crazy Christians as well.
