Nicole Kidman exemplifies celebrity dogooding by hosting a private screening of her new film The Golden Compass for hundreds of patients, their families and the staff of Sydney Children’s Hospital on Tuesday.
What’s more? The Oscar-winning actress gave an extra special Christmas present to five long-term patients and their families, spending private time with them prior to the large group time.
And when it came time to say thank you to the Aussie actress, a young cancer patient presented Nicole with flowers on behalf of everyone in attendance. He told her, “You put a big smile on all our faces and make us feel happy. Thank you for everything you do for us, we love you.â€

And she does it in a see-through, low cut dress. Come on Nicole, use your head. Too bad she can’t protect these kids privacy the same way she claims to protect her own kids privacy, that’s why we never see her with them isn’t it? She’s not wearing her wedding rings either.

Why all the bashing on Nicole? What the hell has she done to anybody???? Save that negative mess for celebrities that deserve it! Nicole is awesome for doing things like this. She seems sweet and friendly.
My mom is 52 and a plastic surgery addict… Nicole and my mother have that same plastic fake look.
I’m not a fan of Nicole but I think this was a really nice thing for her to do, whether it was for publicity or not. And I don’t see anything wrong with what she’s wearing either. Yes there’s a bit of cleavage but its still in Nicole’s normal demure sort of style.
