Timbaland was at the Q102 Jingle Ball in Philadelphia last night and the producer extradonaire debuted nearly all of 4 Minutes to Save The World, Madonna’s first single off of her highly anticipated eleventh studio album.
The record isn’t set to drop until the new year, but if this is any indication, it’s gonna be HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
Madge is scheduled to shoot the Jonas Ã…kerlund-directed video in January alongside Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. (He’s the man behind such visionary masterpieces as Ray of Light, Music and Jump.)

Holly, I don’t think she is rapping, timbaland and justin are, sounds like she’s just singing. I just hope her whole cd isn’t full of rapping, she’s better when its just her singing, her last cd was great and was a big hit even without that.
this is not as exciting as the brilliant “Confessions” , Ray Of Light or “music” tracks or the strangely amazing “erotica” and “American Life” stuff. However it is not that bad. Maybe a bit mediocre. But hey I think we can allow her that every 5 years or so!

It kills me hearing all the bashing of Madonna. Shes 50 and mighty fine for 50 I must say. All the haters bashing her out there will be in rocking chairs not even in the same league as Madonna. The album will be pretty damn fine. She knows what expectations her fans have (key word here was ‘Fans’-not the general public) and will live up to it and then some. Good on her for moving forward.

I must admit I havnt heard the track yet, but with the single and album just around the corner, I feel I would do well to restrain myself and hear it as the artist intended in a month or two.
I just find it a little curious that some, having heard just a poor quality snippet of a much wider track, are already saying it’s no where a s good as such masterpeices as American Life! Would that be the same American Life that is thus far Madonna’s lowest selling album, and the American Life that the same people slagged off when it was initially released? How times have changed!
Well there is hope for 4 Minutes then…if it’s as bad as some of you say it is, think of it this way, it’s bound to become a classic in say 4 years time?!?

Yes to tell you the truth, it would be odd if madona wassent around. I grew up with her, and hope she still rocks till she is 95! it will just give more people things to talk about when shes whiping a 25 yr old when she is 70, lol
After all these years do these idiotic posters really think Madonna will release a record that sounds all the same?! I highly doubt it. Madonna will and always has taken the measures to direct the album in a path that she sees fit (ie. Erotica, American Life). What she has over the industry as a whole is a point of view. Regardless if we like it or not, agree or disagree, she has substance backing her. The album will have touches of outside producing but at this stage in her game she won’t release it without implementing her own touch. I think its sooooo lame that there are people out there that STILL think you should be out shopping for a rocking chair or a retirement mobile home in Florida when you hit the age of 50. Madonna is yet one of many that will prove that theory wrong. Relevance? Give it up. If she was not ‘relevant’ to our times you wouldn’t be on here hate’n on her. She is still VERY VERY relevant judging by the opinions expressed on here. Suck-it-up ladies; Madonna ain’t listening to ya. She hasn’t for 25 years so what makes ya think she will now especially?!
