‘TIS THE SEASON FOR BICKERING

Drama on the set!!

Type A Reese Witherspoon and laid-back Vince Vaughn are said to be “clashing” on the set of Four Christmases.

“Vince rolls onto set in the morning looking like he just came in from a night out, while Reese will arrive early looking camera-ready,” says our San Francisco source. “Then Reese tries to force Vince into blocking out each scene and running through their lines as Vince tries to convince her that he’s an ad-libber and wants to play around and see where the scene goes.”

However, the movie, about a married couple who spend a Christmas with each of their four divorced parents, remains on schedule and on budget.

“She’s a one-take perfectionist and Vince likes to try it a few different ways,” snickers our snitch. “Sometimes Vince will be standing behind her and he has this look on his face that he just wants to kill her!”

Too bad….but on the bright side, I think it’s safe to say there will be no on-the-set romance blossoming in this flick.

Vince Vaughn is repulsive. (My opinion has nothing to do with this story)

REESE WITHERSPOON NEEDS TO DIE! shes a perfectionist freak that thinks everyone else should be as PERFECT as her! her whole marriage breaking up is due to her having unrealistic expectations of ryan phillipe. Seriously that election character she played was inspiried by real life.

OH and Vince is right to approach the job in different angles. Im an actress myself and that is always the best thing to do because greatness usually comes when you try something new NOT try to do a movie in one take so you can run back to the being the new BEARD for jake.

Let’s see, Reese is years younger than Vince and she has an Oscar and other awards and a lot more hit movies than Vince. Plus she already knows her comedy down pat (Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama), so I think Vince could learn a few things from her. Especially stopping all the partying at his age!!!

I think so too Yaz. I like them both, doing their own movies but not together. They look awkward. I can’t say anything about their chemistry..will have to wait for a clip of some sort.
Damn snitches on movie sets..need to mind their own business. haha.

Luella, I want to hug you because I agree. I don’t like him either!!
He reminds me of some one who would still live with his parents and mooches off of all his buddies…lazy and NOT funny!

kiki, was it unrealistic for her to expect her husband to remain faithful? Vince and Reese do seem like an odd pairing, but I’ll save my judgment for when the trailer comes out.

I would really like it if Reese would get out of the business. She is a artistic void and her chin is out of control. Vince… now Vince had some potential once. Hollyweird is rough, I just hope that Vince can get back to that very special place he was in once. I’m not sure he can do it, his flame may have already burned its brightest… but maybe, with the right script and director.

Two different approaches to acting and acting styles. Nothing wrong with that, although it’s inevitable that they’ll clash every once in a while. What an odd pairing for a movie though…

Why do people assume that because two people are in a movie together, they should have off-screen chemistry? They are working just like the rest of us and I can name three bitches (men & women) right now who I would like to take a baseball bat to. But in board meetings, we are as civil as can be. Any fool can see that they are like night and day. He looks like he showers once a month and she looks like she showers once every three hours. They seem to be the epitome of laziness and perfection, the extreme opposite. With that said, I would love to just sit there between takes and watch the facial expressions. THAT should be the movie. That is pure comedy, in my opinion.

actually I thought the movie would play off of the tension between the obviously mismatched duo. Then I found out that they are supposed to be in love??? oh well

they look like they have chemistry in the photo, but i’m not really surprised to hear they clash. i can see why vince would be frustrating for reese, but she does seem really prissy and uptight
