Man of the hour Denzel Washington and producer extraordinaire Oprah Winfrey arrive at The Great Debaters premiere at the Arclight Theater in Hollywood on Tuesday.

After wowing audiences in gang banger American Gangster last month, Denzel returns Christmas Day with a double role — as actor and director — of the story about a championship debate team from an all-black college in 1935.
As the award buzz surrounding his latest cinematic endeavor continues to mount, the 52-year-old actor proves he is without a doubt one of the best leading men of our day.
