Following a slew of box office flops, Jessica Simpson is reportedly desperate to strip naked for a film role, believeing she will be taken more seriously as an actress. She is said to be willing to go against her mom’s wishes to land the role that will require her to go full-frontal. (Something tells us Papa Joe Simpson concocted this latest scheme…)

“Jessica is in the running for a role that, if she gets it, will put her right on the map in terms of acting,” a source said. “The only hitch is that the script requires a number of graphic scenes including a full-frontal nude scene. Jessica is so desperate to land the role and get the industry’s respect that she’s ready to go against her better judgment, and her family, by agreeing to bare all.”

It’s a foolproof plan, really. By baring all in a flick, J.Simp can only go on to do bigger and better things that will see her get taken seriously as an actress. Just look what it did for Alyssa Milano’s career.

    She has no acting talent whatsoever, it does not matter what movie she is in, whether it’d be a Scorsese (which I doubt he will her put her in one of his movies) picture or that horrible Dukes of Hazzard movie, she will just ruin the movie.

    She’s only had 2 movies come out, Dukes Of Hazzard wasn’t a flop, so can she have a slew of flops?

    I had the misfortune of catching a few minutes of “Dukes of Hazzard”. There is NOTHING that could put her on the map in terms of acting.

    Thats because the other went stright to DVD, not looking too good, isnt? this woman baffles me, she has NO TALENT whatsover, take way her reality show, what is left? I bet is the Jenna biopic, yeahh this will be great just like Demi Moore in Streaptease, THAT WAS PURE OSCAR

    Nanda, Her other two films aren’t even out yet. And only one is going straight to DVD. The other is being released in theaters next year. So again, if she only has two films, and 1 wasn’t a flop. How can she have a slew of flops?

    OH REALLY? because Major movie star was ALSO produced by her dad, and he didnt manage to get a released deal for Blond ambition, do you really think he will get a deal for Major star? the films actually looks worse then Blond A. and the reason her dad is producing ALL her latest works in simple because no one in Hollywood is giving her roles, can you blame them? Go see her reviews for Employe of the month, I am telling you SHE CANT ACT.She makes Jesisca Alba look like Meryl.

    LOL, I don’t think she’s that bad, but I do think she needs to hire an acting caoch if she wants to be taken seriouslly. Her dad is just one of the producers out of 15. If it’s realeased straight to DVD, that doesn’t neccesarily mean it’s a flop, for it to be a major flop it would have to be released in theaters and flop then go to DVD and flop. If it flops on DVD release then that’s another story, that will pretty much mean her film career is dead. But as far as I last heard Major Star is still set for a theatrical release.

    When something is release straight to DVD it means that the people who will not distribute the movies to be shown in theatre know that it won’t make any money, so why bother releasing it in theatre.
