With drink in hand, a typically cracked out Amy Winehouse is spotted in London over the weekend walking around aimlessly after purchasing a pack of cigarettes.
Meanwhile, despite a recent heart-felt plea from her mother begging the troubled songtress to come back home, Wino’s publicist says her superstar client in “determined” to make it to the Grammys.
“Amy is thrilled to be nominated for 6 Grammys and is very much hoping to attend,” her rep tells PEOPLE. “She is determined to be ready and well for that performance.”
Ladies and gentlemen, rev up your Tivos. This oughta be good!

The Grammy’s are two months away. Amy will have been thru 2 or 3 ODs by then and could very well be dead!
I think she will make it to the Grammy’s, and once there, she will be sooo cracked out that she won’t be able to perform or go on stage even.
I hope she sweeps the Grammy’s- her album is the best I’ve heard in a while.

Amy needs help (that is obvious) — hopefully she will get the help she needs.
Oh dear. It’s really sad to see someone so talented just abuse everything that has been given to them. The drugs have taken over her life obviously, and she probably doesn’t even know what she is doing anymore. If she comes out of this she most likely will not remember what it was like to be successful and win presitigous awards like the Grammys. I hope she pulls herself together.
I hope she wins every last Grammy that she was nominated for. People adore Britney and half ass “entertainers” like her no matter what their problems. Amy is truely talented and her album is in the top 5 greatest written albums of all time (IMO). She has talent and because she has addiction problems really doesn’t take anything away from the work of art she released. I would rather listen to Back to Black ANY day of the week versus Britney or the other over processed unfeeling bullshit that get released now a days. Speaking of that I listend to Kelly Clarkson’s album for the 1st time yesterday and it was good! Clive Davis just wanted her to fit the mold she had been and he was wrong. I can’t believe people didn’t support the album more and she wrote evey song.
