You know, I know longer care that she is not classically beautiful. She has an interesting face. She stands out. She is memorable. If she is talented, it shouldn’t matter that she doesn’t look cookie cutter. There are plenty of very talented women who aren’t classically pretty (Angelica Houston comes to mind) but are super sexy because of the competence, talent, and humility/compassion.
It’s sad that this young woman will probably be driven to some sort of plastic surgery, or at worse she’ll end up constantly insecure about her appearance and overcompensating because she does not fit the media image of what is beautiful. (Think Tori Spelling). Hopefully, this won’t happen, but I’ll be sad if it does. It would be a sad day if talent takes a backseat to looks all the time.
Granted, she has yet to show she has any talent (other than mugging for the camera).
