SEASONS GREETINGS FROM TOMKAT

tom-cruise-katie-holiday-card-copy.jpg

Check out the 2007 Cruise clan holiday card that family matriarch Katie Holmes designer all by herself!

Katie’s card, made of recycled paper and a silk taffeta bow, is being sent out on behalf of Tom Cruise, their daughter Suri and Tom’s kids with Nicole Kidman, Bella and Connor.

Interestingly, Holmes signed the cards “Kate,” a name appointed to her by hubby Tom.

Our thoughts on the Cruise’s nondenominational greeting card?

she knew that by signing ‘kate’ it would get even more press attention because we all know that’s what her gay as shit nutjob husband calls her. they’ve made sure of that much.

Shit, my Christmas greeting card looks better than that. It’s so plain, boring. Makes me sleepy.

I think that it is a lovely card.
And why the big deal about Tom calling her “Kate”? Chris Klein also called her “Kate”.

Growing up and in college I was cool with being called Johnny but when I got a job grew up I switched it to John. Are there still some people who call me Johnny? Sure and I’m fine with that but as far as I’m concerned my name is John. I sign it John and I expect new acquaintences to call me John. (PS My given name is actually John not Johnathan).

Bella and Connor share a line, but Suri gets her own. Do you think she has her own agent , like below the title billing negotiations on movie posters?
    Ugly card anyway.

First of all, the bow is brown, not black, and while simple and plain, it’s classy and elegant. Too formal for me, but for their lifestyle it fits perfectly. I think it’s great! And Suri has her own line to make it paragraph even. It’s in order of age, as it should be.

What’s the freakin big deal??? I happen to like it. I like the BROWN bow and the twinkle stars. And so what if Suri has her own line. Had Katie been in place of Kate - people would be wondering why not Kate. OR if Suri’s name came before Connor or Bella - Tom and Katie favor Suri over the other two. People make such a big deal out of nothing.

Although I am still in the RUN KATIE RUN group, I thought the Holiday Card was nice and rather classy. And according to the IMDB site, her name is Kate Noelle which is a lovely name and maybe she likes the Kate name now.

That is the most funereal holiday card I’ve ever seen. If they were going for understated they mailed it, but man it’s depressing.

Isn’t a Holiday card suppose to be lively and festive and make you smile. This sure hell doesn’t. It’s too serious.

i don’t get why people are dissing a card. i think it’s lovely! i’m too lazy to even write any, so i give them credit for bothering to organise one to send out at all.

    - suri has her own line because obviously they were only putting 2 names per line (grown ups first, understandably).. and i would guess they were going by alphabetical order, which would put suri last. it’s no big deal
-katie using “kate” is no big deal either! as taylor mentioned above, her old boyfriend called her that too. what is so strange? her name is actually KATHERINE.. not even katie.. she should be free to choose whatever nickname she wants to stick with! and most people would probably agree that kate is more age-appropriate as you get older, rather than katie.

Suri has her own line? Most cards go down in order from oldest to youngest anyway. Jesus Fucking Christ, you people will bitch and moan over anything. The card is classy. I personally would have made it all about the kids and whimsical, but she ain’t me and I ain’t her. And for years, my brother has been trying to get me to now call him Jeff instead of Junior.

People are dissing the card because it looks like a death announcement not a joyous celebration of the season! For “Jesus, Mary and Joseph” it’s supposed to be a HAPPY time! The Saviour was born - or Hannakah. (and don’t get at me that “Jesus was not actually born on that day - it’s symbolic people!) Perhaps they don’t celebrate it but dear me, can’t they pretend to be happy, if not for other people at least for themselves! Show some spirit. Live a little , use colour in your life!!!!!! Not one where you need to stick to your usual colour constrictions.
