The Spice Girls kicked off their reunion tour last night, the first time all five members of the group have toured together in nearly 10 years.
When the fierce fivesome took to the multi-level stage, they sparkled in gold and bronze outfits by Italian designer Roberto Cavalli. Their two-hour concert was set to include 22 songs and involve multiple costume changes.
They opened with their signature song, Spice Up Your Life, followed by Stop and Say You’ll Be There.
Despite rumours of tensions in the lead-up to opening night, the five held hands and embraced each other throughout the show, with Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham going to great lengths to display their affection towards each other.
Girl power, indeed!

^ Ehmm … pretty much everywhere is sold out - they keep on adding new dates. In London alone they’re doing like 17 nights & have filled the O2 arena [20,000] for every night [17 nights x 20,000 = 340,000 people in London area alone!] … not to mention 5 nights in New York, 3 in Vegas, 2 in Boston, Chicago, Toronto & L.A … & 1 in San Jose & Vancouver … Then Buenos Aires, London, Manchester, Madrid, Cologne, Cape Town, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong & Sydney … They’ve had to reschedule South America, Africa & Asia dates due to demand. I’m not a huge fan but can appreciate them for what they are … every single review in the media for their concert last night in Vancouver is glowing … all the journalists who were ready to pan them are all saying how amazing it was. You don’t need to be a great singer to have a great concert i guess. I can only imagine how much cash this tour is grossing them, I mean … Victoria & David already have a $500 Million fortune!
