Big screen babe Cameron Diaz proves she’s a true fashion trailblazer in a graphic white strapless gown at the Kennedy Center Honor Awards reception in Washington, DC on Sunday night.

The 35-year-old star joined fellow thespian Robert DeNiro and director Francis Ford Coppola to honour Martin Scorsese, acclaimed film director whose work has ranged from 1976’s Taxi Driver to the Oscar-winning The Departed.

Said Cameron: “Marty made his dreams come true, and he has made dreams come true for all of us who came before his camera.”

Well said. Now on to more pressing matters: Love or hate Cammy’s dress?

    not a big fan of the dress. also, i can’t stand how she gets to talk about these people like she’s anywhere in the same league as them. These are GREAT actors/directors. She gets paid to look cute. BIG difference. She’s good at what she does, but I don’t really think it’s anything spectacular on the acting front. End rant ;)

    Hate the dress. She’ll be a lot more interesting if she ever grows up. She talks and acts like a giant grade-school girl.

    Cameron’s one of those people whose “hotness” I don’t really get. Maybe 1997-2000. As she ages, she just looks more and more androgynous to me.

    That gown is hardly trailblazing. I also don’t care for her accessories. Big yawns for Cami.
