Pictures of Jennifer Love Hewitt on vacation in a bikini have been floating around all week. Many showed her looking cute and happy in the surf with her new fiance. But some, from the backside, were not flattering.

Now, Love has posted a MySpace missive about it. The actress says she’s “annoyed” that pictures of her vacation were online and says, “…I love my body.”

“I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their bodies. A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.”

She adds, “To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini – put it on and stay strong.”

    yes, some men do get cellulite, but it is primarily a woman’s thing because of the way our fat deposits lay.

    Good for her, but is she saying she’s a size 2? No way in hell.

    I agree - her post/response was short and sweet and she really does seem to love her body. It’s hard to love your body nowadays and when I first saw the photos I thought - when I looked like that (a few pounds ago) I didn’t feel good going anywhere in a bikini, but the fact that she does, is awesome and I’m jealous.

    Oh god it sounds like Tyra Banks part two. Don’t get me wrong, I think its great that she is happy with her body or whatever but there is nothing wrong with being a size 0 either. Women turn weight into such a huge issue sometimes, who cares as long as you are happy and healthy.

    I’d rather see a good looking girl carrying some weight, than an ugly assfaced skinny blue-eyes blond who believes and is led to believe she is such hot shit. Can men - and women - not see beyond the hair and even eye color and the protruding clavicle to see unattractiveness?

    She should go to the gym and tone her body,especially her butt.I believe that’s where the comments from the media came from,she needs to tone her body and look fit,she seems to have too much cellulite.Beyonce is also a big girl but she keeps her body toned that’s what Love should do and that doesnt mean that you need to be a size 0.Her backside is very unflattering!!!!!!!!!

    I say Beyonce at the Airport in Miami 2 years ago and she is FAR from full or thick. i was so shocked to how perfect her body was, she looked like she was 5′6 and 140 pounds, maybe a size 6 at the most.

    Cellulite is genetic and has little to do with how much you weigh… That is why Beyonce can run around without it and some skinnier girls can’t. It reflects HOW our bodies distribute fat (and the amount of connective tissue under the skin) not HOW MUCH fat we have. I’ve seen normal-weight TODDLERS with cellulite on their butts. Get over it. The only reason men make such a big deal about it is because most of them can’t get it.

    Beyonce has PLENTY of cellulite- even though she is muscle……we’ve all seen it, and read about how many hours it took the Sports Illustrated people to Photoshop it out…….just saying.

    It would suck to have your cellulite blasted thru the pages of a magazine! I work out 5 days a week and TRY to eat healthy and I have cellulite. I have had it since I was about 22. Whay can you do?

    Let’s get something straight—there are naturally tiny people who are a size 0 and look wonderful, because that is just they way they are. Then there are those unnatural size 0s that have starved themselves to get there —girls like Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton and Kate Bosworth. Those are the images that girls look at and think that is what men want and how actresses and celebrities are supposed to look. Photoshopping adds to that ‘perfection’ girls will never achieve.

    and im a size 0 now, but i was a size 2 not that long ago.
    and i can definitly say that my body definitly did not look like that.

    She is not saying she is a size 2 GOD, she is just saying that women shouldn’t aspire to be a size 0 because being a size 2 is not fat either.. Hell a size 8 is not fat. People need to stop obsessing and enjoy the good things in life like chocolate, wine, great dinner parties, and even the days when you pig out completely. It’s all part of being a human being. No one expects you to be perfect except yourselves, so get that thought out of your heads!!!

    beyonce is the perfect size, i dont know how she got into this jennifer love hewitt post, but since she has been mentioned, two different body shapes. Beyonce is way more toned and thicker in the legs than jen, she has a beautiful fiqure and surely not a size 2. Cellulite is a womans fear and most of us all have is a true statement. Enjoy life and a little extra meat on the bones wont hurt!

    a lot of these hollywood woman lie about their sizes… they need to get over this skinny business and love your womanly body for the cuves that you have and stop trying to get in where you dont fit in. Im a size 12 and have a 26 inch waist and i LOOK GOOD ( at least that what the fellows say) smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    just curious……..When I have a 26 inch waist, I wear a size 2! Now I am a 4, with a 27 inch waist…..

    As to how a 26 inch waist can require a size twelve, in a word: hips. Waist band size on jeans sure as hell doesn’t correspond to the actual waist measurement. If you’ve got an ass and hips, then your pant size gets upped majorly. I’m with danielle on this one.
