Eva Longoria can’t hide her cheerful reaction as she receives the Bambi entertainment award in the category International TV Series, from German actor Hannes Jaenicke in Duesseldorf, Germany on Thursday.
The Desperate Housewives diva went totally retro glam in a chardonay-coloured strapless down accented with a soft wave ‘do. Meanwhile, fellow attendee Rihanna purred in a body-hugging leopard-print gown.
So what brought out these young Hollywood stunners to Western Germany? The Bambi award, in the form of a gold-plated sculpture of a small baby-reindeer, is to Germany what the Oscars are Stateside.

Love the color of Eva’s gown! But I don’t care at all for the construction–I don’t like all those panels and pieces. A gown like that should be one smooth flow of fabric.

Rih looks so good, she has one of the best bodies out there! Not too fond of the streaks in her hair though..They look tacky.
Eva is too cute, I love how she changes her look and she always experiments with her hairstyles. I’m not a fan of Rihanna, she looks dirty here.

You got it: They do give this award to everybody. The German equivalent for the Oscar is the Golden Bear given at the Berlin Film Festival and not the Bambi. Since it’s given to everybody I believe the name “Bimbo” would be more appropriate.
Even Crui$emeister got one for “courage in films”. “Courage in films…” I would say “audacity” is more the word.
Tommy must be desperate if he really came here to pick up THAT award. Because that “award” is a JOKE! You have no idea how many serious artists refused or returned this “award”. On the other hand who wouldn’t care for a nice evening with B and C list German celebrities?
And who cares how many “Bambis” or “Bimbos” and “Tweetys” and “Mickey Mouses” Tommy Mouse gets, as long as it isn’t the golden statue… And I bet this is one of the very few things Tommy Boy and I will agree on.
The most prestigious German film award is the Berlin film festival award, the “Bear”. It’s the only German film award that is worth mentioning and is connected with international prestige. And guess, who has one…Two small hints: The name starts with an “N” and ends with “icole”
eva longoria, jLo, Christina Aguleria all look gorgeous when they are dressed up but when they open their mouths.. it sounds sooo crappy and GHETTO.. it just kills the whole look

Eva looks great, but she always seems to look fantastic every time she goes out. I’m a much bigger fan of her wardrobe than I am of her.
Rhianna looks hot here! I love her dress so much! I agree with you though BJB….the streaks look tacky. She looks much better just plain black.
