Former primetime cutie Mischa Barton channels her inner sinful seductress in Jaunary issue of Arena magazine.
The seemingly unemployed actress actually has a slew of flims set for release in 2008, including You and I (Finding tATu), Don’t Fade Away (with Ja Rule) and the semi anticipated Assassination of a High School President alongside Hollywood heavyweight Bruce Willis. Meanwhile, Mischa is currently in Regina, Saskatchewan, shooting a psychological thriller called Walled In, where she plays Jeanne, whose explorations in a deserted building where unexplained events happened years before, throw up a riddle of evil spells. That flick is set to hit theatres in early 2009.

I really like this photoshoot. I think she looks very model-esque. She’s got tons of movies coming up doesn’t she? They are all probably indie kind of flicks though and the only one that will probably be successful in theatres is the one with Bruce Willis. I know she wanted to try new things or whatever…but leaving the OC was a big mistake for her! I think if she hadn’t left the show could have definately gone on for another four seasons easily. It just went downhill after her leaving…
^She did not leave people! She was killed off! Why is she getting blamed for what she was forced to do by producers? She loved that show, I am sure she would continue doing it if she were allowed. They just wanted to bring in some drama by killing the main character, which was a rich move on their part. Very thought through.
^^^around 2nd to 3rd season she gave Drama behind the scenes. She pissed off the crew and cast included, that resulted in her being killed off without a set-up that made it seem out of place.

She’s been working on 9 films in the last couple of years, as well as heading up many charities, and working on her many fashion endorsements! I guess all of that could be keeping her busy! Just because she’s not in the news with drug busts and DWI charges, doesn’t mean that she’s not busy! Mischa is totally gorgeous, and one of the best actresses around - Attenborough doesn’t give parts to people who can’t act, so his casting of her in his new film should be all the confirmation you need of the level of her acting ability. And she’s such a caring person too, unlike so many of the other “young Hollywood” crowd, who just seem interested in doing nothing more than partying and getting busted, and never seem to do any work at all - unlike Mischa who’s working her incredibly sexy behind off right now with films, fashion endorsements and charity work. So all you bashers should just shut up and appreciate Mischa for the wonderful person she is.
