XTINA GETS NAKED (AGAIN!) FOR ‘MARIE CLAIRE’

xtina-mc-naked.jpg

Mum-to-be Christina Aguilera is downright giggly as she opens up for the first time about her baby boy, her marriage, and her future in the “Sexy Mama” cover article featured in the January 2008 issue of Marie Claire, on newsstands nationally December 11.

Xtina on getting knocked up: “We were planning on starting to try after the tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn’t know how much time it would take. You’ve heard it takes some time — except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here… I’m like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?”

Xtina on being pregnant while touring: “I was paranoid. There are so many things that could go wrong — somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show.” [So she wore a well-concealed heart monitor. She didn't want to broadcast the news.] “I didn’t want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, ‘Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be OK?’ But I had to announce it to my band and my dancers, because I wanted to make sure they had my back.”

Xtina on not making a pregnancy announcement: “Because I hadn’t said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that’s not the case at all. I just wasn’t commenting. I’m not being like, ‘Hey, everybody, I’m pregnant!’ I’m not that girl.”

Xtina on motherhood and her sexy image: “We’re so labeled. If you’re too sexual, you’re slutty. If you’re not sexual enough, you’re a prude. I like to put it out there as a topic of conversation. Why does it bother you? What’s your problem with it? Am I really hurting you? Let’s get to the root of it. I have more than one side of me that likes to get out on a stage and sing. Sometimes I want to be aggressive, sometimes I want to feel empowered in my sexuality and my vulnerability. I want to put all that out there.”

I am all for the fact that being pregnant is beautiful and natural and nothing to be ashamed about…. There is just something off about a woman posing basically naked while pregnant. It is like when you hear about women doing porn or stripping when they are pregnant, it is gross! If there is any time you should respect yourself at the very least let it be while you are pregnant. She looks cute but it is tacky.

I am sick of naked pics of pregnant ladies. I understand wanting to take photos to remember, but they should be private. NOT for fucking Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, etc………

If you’re knocked up, have some dignity and cover up. Nasty!

Very smart business/marketing move–excellent exposure in a classy magazine–great photos. Christina is no dummy……

Demi Moore’s pic are still the best. Power egg and super sperm? The baby will still need LOTS of make up to look presentable ;)

^Yeah and Demi’s was the best because hers was the FIRST celeb on a major magazine photographed naked and pregnant. It is now legendary. Back then (over almost 20 years ago) it was edgy and artistic. Now, it’s just old, rehashed, stupid and desperate-looking.

Christina looks great, and I’m sure they used less photoshop on her than they did on Britney LOL.
But I do agree that Demi Moore’s was the best. It was shocking and controversial when she did it, now everyone else looks like copycats.

whore-ish and tacky looking pregnancy pics. nice.

“not that kind of girl” wouldn’t put her naked ass ugly pics in a magazine for all to see.

I don’t have a problem with preg pics, perse, but why does she have to do it when she is pregnant. She didn’t do it any other time, why is it ok now?

I think that pregnant women are absolutely beautiful and there is nothing wrong with taken nice, tasteful, naked pictures. I think the second shot of Christina is really pretty, but the first one just looks skanky to me. Like a knocked up prostitute trying too hard to look sexy….not a nice look.
I like her answers to the questions though, I think she’s always interesting to listen to in interviews.

I love preggo bellies. To me it’s not disgusting or repulsive at all. I think she looks fabulous (even with too much makeup on!).

i don’t find it repulsive or disgusting at all. i can definitely appreciate these pics for their artistic value. it’s the naked form, free from suggestiveness or sexuality (still done tastefully of course).. i like that! it’s always beautiful
