After watching the Super Bowl with her famliy, Miley Cyrus enjoyed a night out on the town in Century City, CA last night (February 7).

Joined by her Aussie boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, the 17-year-old starlet continues to flaunt her provocative fashion sense as she stepped out for a bite to eat.

Meanwhile, it appears Miley has reached out to troubled actor Joaquin Phoenix in an attempt to save him from his downward spiral.

“Joaquin loves Miley,” a source close to the unlikely pair tells Britain’s Now magazine. “She’s brought so much joy and laughter into his life. He loves her energy and enthusiasm. He says she makes him feel like a kid again. He’s so grateful for everything she’s done for him. Joaquin was introduced to Miley by his ex-girlfriend Liv Tyler, who’s another one who should be credited from bringing him back from the brink. Together, they’ve worked hard to lift Joaquin’s spirits. He’s been through so much turmoil in his life, it’s no wonder he’s feeling down.”

Miley and Joaquin first met when they starred in a PSA together to help a charity — To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) — win grant money for suicide prevention.
