Taking time out of her busy schedule, Canadian chanteuse Nelly Furtado performs at Gilda Club Greater Toronto’s sixth annual fundraiser It’s Always Something on Monday.
For the first time ever, the cancer charity event raised $500 000.
Gilda’s Club was founded in honour of comedian Gilda Radner. The Second City and Saturday Night Live star died of ovarian cancer in 1989. The first clubhouse opened in New York City in 1995, and the Toronto club opened its red door in 2001, in the old Second City firehouse on Lombard Street.
Other feature performers last night included Anne Murray, Eric McCormack, Great Big Sea and host, Russell Peters.

Who is that? She’s unrecognizable as a blonde. Go back to your roots Furtado!

Nelly really needs to go back to black. That brassy blonde color ages her bad. NOT a good look at all.

I hate Nelly blonde, hate hate hate!

Love that dress! Anybody know where you can get it?

She looks re-dic with that blonde hair, it’s almost orange. She has an ethnic face, she can’t be blonde!

What has Ann Murray done to her face?

Blonde one Nelly looks HORRIBLE.
WHY do so many people think they need to “try” being blonde? If you weren’t blonde as a child, it will NOT work.

Can we please STOP wearing that dress in every cut and color possible? It’s still gonna be that tired dress everybody has worn no matter how much you flip and turn it.

Nelly is a complete sellout…

The blonde hair looks absolutely AWFUL and clashes with her dress and face.

Hey… instead of being so concerned about who looks good or bad with their new hair color, etc. let’s give some credit to the fact that for the first time ever, the cancer charity event raised $500,000! We ALL need to keep doing more to raise money and awareness for cancer.
I am a community ambassador with Pantene for Million Inch Chain. Together we are working to empower women battling cancer and help them regain their confidence. Our goal is to collect 1 million inches of hair so that we may provide wigs to women who would otherwise be unable to afford them. Please help support this amazing cause⦠we could use every inch of hair we can get! If you would like to donate or get more information, please visit this site: http://www.beautifullengths.com/en_US/million_inch/million_inch_qa.jsp
What are you gonna do?

Her hair looks better than at the VMA. However, I still don’t like the blonde hair on her.

Let’s focus on the color of her dress, teal, which is also the color for ovarian cancer awareness (like pink is for breast cancer).

nelly is beautiful, but she needs to go back to brunette. Other than that, icancer awareness charities do amazing jobs.

Oh, why the hell did Nelly bleach her hair??? It looks horrible. She’d look great if she were brunette again. I’m just so over people bleaching their hair to go blonde.

Woahhh I hardly even recognised Nelly. The blonde hair really doesn’t suit her. I think she looks a million times better and younger with the dark brown hair.
