Meanwhile, the uber stylish cast of the hit CW show are among the new Style Stars for 2008, says Gina Kelly, fashion director of Seventeen who helped pick the list for the magazine’s December/January issue.
“It’s the younger generation of celebrities who enjoy the most influence over the fashion world because they’re the ones willing to take the risks that inspire new trends,” says Kelly, who noted that Gossip Girls has filled in the style-savvy void left by Sex and the City.
Other honourees include Miley Cyrus, Rachel Bilson and Emma Watson.

…and the chemistry bw the leads is practically non-existent, which doesn’t surprise me because they’re just supposed to stand there and look sexy.

The show is shit (big surprise) and their “fashionable” wardrobe is a joke. Maybe teeny-boppers find it daring and edgy, but it’s anything but.

Its not a bad show but not so great either I always forget to watch it. I agree with the earlier post the characters lack chemistry. Basically its a forgettable show despite the critics claiming otherwise.

um, DUH. they have to wear makeup cause it’s a TELEVISION SHOW. how stupid can you get, not wearing makeup to a show. they’d probably look like you, Aysla, Amber85 and ‘Supernova’. (BARF)
