This just in: The 8th World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates will present actors George Clooney and Don Cheadle with the 2007 Peace Summit Award at its annual meeting in Rome, which starts December 13.
The two are being lauded “for their efforts in promoting peace in Darfur.”

As an artist and a pod/vodcaster promoting peace it is super to see people from all walks of life demonstrate their powers to create a safer world. We all can do it. We all can amaze our world, today. Oh yeah. Increase the peace, baby. If not you than who?

What is Darfur doing to fix it’s own problems? Let the Sudanese fix themselves first, and it they are not willing, then why is it everyone else’s responsibility to care about their shit?
Don Cheadle has done quite a bit to raise awareness regarding the genocide going on in Darfur. I’m not saying George Clooney hasn’t but he’s been more of a spokesperson while Cheadle has been hands on.
