Britney Spears threw caution (and likely her future with her kids) to the wind over the weekend when she ran three stop signs.
With her latest cling-on pal Sam Lutfi by her side, Britney rocketed her way home from the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, zooming through two signs. As she approached a third stop sign, she slowed but didn’t stop.

Oh Shut The Fuck Up … Thats Beverly Hills & there are millions of junctions like that - NOBODY comes to a complete stop unless it’s busy or daylight … at night as long as you slow right down & can see theres no other vehicles she didn’t do anything wrong - I’m not a Britney fan but the media pick up on such dumb stupid things that every other person does. If she gets into trouble for this then it’s only right that the paparazzi filming get into trouble for it - they didn’t completely stop either. I know TONS of people who don’t come to a COMPLETE stop at stop signs when it’s clear. Hell, I’ve probably done it before too. Of course no one was photographing me…. That said, if I were in her position with everyone focusing on my driving, I’d let someone else drive or be overly cautious.

Me! Just because people are following her doesn’t mean she doesnt have to obey the law. It’s wrong for me to do it, wrong for you to do it, and wrong for Britney to do it. There is a law that says you have to stop at a stop sign for a reason. We all know she isn’t the most observant driver so who knows if she could have missed seeing a car when she didnt stop. There isn’t an excuse to put her life and other people’s in danger. Is it really that big of a deal to STOP the car? No.
Not that most people make a complete stop - anywhere; not just in LA. She’s a piss poor driver but you’ll notice the two or three cars that followed suit right behind her law-breaking ass? Makes you wonder who’s more negligent - Britney or the freaks without leashes that follow her 24/7? Considering Britney clearly has mental problems (exhacerbated by drugs, no doubt), I’d think the paps should know better than to chase people who are breaking traffic laws. After she did it the first time, they had two more opportunities to NOT do it themselves but chose to do so anyway. I come to a complete stop at all stop signs, oncoming traffic or not. Besides the fact that it’s the law you can get a ticket for it and I don’t want to deal with that for something so easy to avoid. Trouble with this is that I have been honked at, flipped off, and nearly run into because the people behind me are so used to people blowing through stop signs that they don’t even consider that I might stop.
Boo - I would hazzard to say you are out of the ordinary. Sure you should do it and yes that is the LAW but, to come to an absolute complete stop ( ZERO miles/hour) takes a lot of time and more stress on your car. Get real. Give me a break. My former brother in law was paralyzed in a traffic accident where he ran a red light. Completely his fault but he’s paid for that mistake a million times over (luckily he was the only one seriously injured). I’m sure if any of you were as familiar with a case such as this as my family is, you’d never run a red light or stop sign or justify anyone else doing so.

Ask any traffic cop, a rolling stop is not a stop, you’d pay your fine or do your time IF a cop witnessed you doing it, not by papparazzi video. Oh god. Sure she should have stopped at the stop sign, but its not the same as running a red light. If she saw that there was no ongoing traffic coming she wasn’t really endangering anyone and she probably felt that it was ok just to drive right through. If there was cameras watching those stop signs 24/7 I’d bet my money on it that at least half of the drivers just slow down instead of coming to a full stop. Britney is the only one who seems to get a driving test and evaluation every time she gets behind the wheel. It’s pathetic.
