THERE MUST BE SOMETHING IN THE WATER

Here’s some not-so-shocking news: One of the Hanson boys has bred once again.

Zac, the youngest of the 90s trio, and his wife Kate are expecting their first child in May.

“I am utterly thrilled at the thought of becoming a father,” says Zac, 22. “I can’t wait to meet this person.” Adds Kate, 23, “This is the most amazing time for us. It’s the most romantic thing we’ve ever done.”

He adds: “It will be really fun to see five little ones grow up together. I know watching them is going to inspire a lot of music.”

This will make for the eleventh member of the Hanson clan. Middle brother Taylor and his wife Natalie have three kids while eldest Isaac and wife Nicki have a 7-month-old little baby boy at home.

And, no, they’re not Mormons.

Congratulations…to everyone!

Ah, Zac. Back in high school (or was it middle school?) I knew this guy who was obsessed with that particular Hanson sibling… he wasn’t familiar with the band, but he saw them in pictures. He occasionally let it slip how hot he thought “she” was, until someone finally broke it to him that, alas, the youngest Hanson member was not a girl. Needless to say, he was devastated. And probably confused. :o)
    .
Zac has grown into his looks, but ditto to PSL… Taylor takes the cake in the looks department.

BeJeeBus - I think he made the mormon comment because they don’t use BC and get married and have kids young.

Im 22 and the thought of being married or having kids sends shivers down my spine. Why would I want to waste my youth when I have my whole adult life to do that sort of thing…. I wasn’t born with the ‘kid’ gene though.

meaghan — mormons are totally allowed and encouraged to use birth control if they want to; they just don’t have premarital sex and value big families.

While they aren’t Mormans they are some kind of out-there religion, remember they were all homeschooled because the parents didn’t agree with government indoctrination.

They’ve all grown up into really good looking, nice family men. It’s great to see that they didn’t go off the rails like a lot of other child stars. I get the feeling that they had a very strong upbringing and were taught to be gentlemen. They manage to stay out of the limelight pretty well too.
I think Zac’s statement is gorgeous about how he ‘can’t wait to meet this person’ and that its the ‘most romantic thing they’ve ever done’. Congrats to them!

I had my first child at at 24 and my second this year at 26 years old. In my opinion having kids is not a waste of your youthful years. In fact it is the oppisite. Kids make you young: they keep you in shape and active, they help you to laugh, and they remind you about the simple awesome things in life that you forgot about. Plus through procreation you eternalize youth. You actually do not have all your adult life to have kids. A womans body only has so many eggs and not all get fertilized and as she ages she loses eggs. This means a womans body has a timeline for having kids or say a window of opportunity. You have to decide if you want the opportunity. I feel it is better to have them while younger because your body is usually stronger and recovers from lobor quickly. plus you will have more energy for them. So as long as you are mature enough for the experience and have a spouse to help you along can be a beautiful experience even if there is pain sometimes. Not all mormons have kids young and some don’t have any at all. It is a personal decision between husband , wife, and the Lord.

okay excuse my typo(s)… lobor is supposed to read labor and add the word it between the word along and the word can in the sentence that starts So as long as you are mature…
