The wardrobe is too small for her, LoL

Actually I am impressed with the fact that she didn’t buy more than she needs. The house is quite humble in comparison to what she can afford and what other celebs buy. But most of it is usually for show, cause let’s face it, who needs 15 bedrooms anyway? It looks like a cosy house!

this house would sell for under 500G in my neighborhood

  4. Maximum Big Surprise
    4

Ugly! I wouldn’t buy this house even if it were under 500G.

I can’t believe how much the cost of living is in LA. I’m not impressed by this house, and the price tag is insane for what you actually get out of it. It obviously boils down to location, location, location!

that home is beautiful, and i think it really reflects her personality, quirky, cool, private, not all open and airy and whitewhashed and minimalist steal and glass. it looks like it has warmth and soul and history. the only qualms i might i have are that the pictures might not represent the whole house, like someone else mentioned, not enough closet space, alsthough you know at least an entire guestroom is going to be dedicated to her wardrobe. and that batroom they showed? that cannot be the master bath! other than that, it charming. completely charming. quirky and charming,, just like the girls themselves.

I like it a lot better than these cookie-cutter manses most celebrities buy. I have to agree with BJB, also - it’s nice that she didn’t go buy some $15 million dollar place with more rooms than she can possibly use.

Does it bother anyone else that the garage door is totally rusted??

    messy kitchen. cute house though.

I just don’t like it. Looks like it’’s really run down and the creepy vines would scare me a night time.

I LOVE it! Its my dream house. I love the bannisters goin down the stairs, I love the kitchen and the pot holders, I love the arch going into the living room. I love the entire house. It is sooo cute, totally my style. Gothic and old.

Very nice house–but–very old construction; as a result you get very small master bath and closet.

i guess it suits a hobbit like her

I think it’s a dump, compared to other Spanish style homes in L.A. The kitchen is hideous.

Cool house, but I’m not a fan of the darkness of it. My house is very open and airy and this is the complete opposite. It reminds me of a lot of the country style homes in England. It kind of suits Ashley though and that neighbourhood is quite nice. I think she got a really good price for it actually. It’s nice to see a celeb go for a different style house than the norm.

Why aren’t you posting much these days Arasto?

  20. oh no
    20

This must be for her maid. Way to small for a billionaire!

  21. meena
    21

    its beautiful.looks very Mediterranean.

  22. Lexi
    22

It’s quite a modest house for a billionaire - but it’s so cute and quirky. However, the master bath and the kitchen seems like it’ll be up for construction. The stove is ancient!

  23. Aysla
    23

I love it, it’s cozy and has a very strong feeling of home to it. It looks like the kind of place she might actually live in, as opposed to having a house that seems just for show, where one would stop in very rarely.

  24. kat
    24

that house is beautiful! im thinking the ancient stove (lol) is part of the style of the kitchen? i LOVE the pool!!!

  25. Barks
    25

I think I’ve seen this house before, is it posible its one of those OCD house flipper bravo TV show guys houses?

  26. marina
    26

I absolutely LOVE it. Dark , country style home , ancient stove, creepy vines - very private …like you are far away from the rest of the world….Open and airy houses make me feel dizzy

  27. boohoo
    27

It’s a fixer upper. I’m sure she can make it look better.

  28. luuluu
    28

and all the vines in the back remind me of the french quarter in new orleans

  29. Bette
    29

    What a dump.

  30. Tony
    30

Now do you silly people really think she’ll move in it as is? This will be TOTALLY renovated on the inside and probably a LOT on the outside.

  31. Amy
    31

it looks cosy.. but creepy. like where a witch would live.

  32. Amy
    32

but i am impressed that she didn’t go over the top and buy more than she needs, as bejeebus said

  33. grr
    33

I love the arched doorway and the built-in’s! The bathroom is tiny, but then so is she.

    36

I’m surprised it’s so close to the street — The one shot shows the garbage can at the curb.

I like the stairway — but the pool looks cold….

  37. april
    37

Somehow, I can’t picture her living there; it’s too shabby and cramped. Maybe it’s an investment or something.

  38. Dumbass
    38

    what a dump
she has billions and only spends 1.6 MIL on a dump?

    frmpy girl, dumpy house

  39. mackie
    39

    a dump? “run down”? creepy??
people, get a perspective. or use your brain for a change.

  40. Oingo
    40

heck here in NYC she would only get a 1 bed 1 bath loft for 1.5M

  41. RaraAvis
    41

Oingo, that’s why we don’t live in NYC :-) Seriously, this is not my idea of a great house. I like mine better. To each is own, I guess.
