A slew of celebs showed up to stand by the side of actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers this morning as he said a final farewell to his late mother.
Geri Rhys Meyers passed away on Tuesday morning in Ireland following a short illness.
Mourners including actors Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy packed into St Joseph’s Church in Glanmire for the funeral service.
JRM was flanked by private security guards holding umbrellas to shield him from waiting photographers, as he emerged from a black SUV with his girlfriend Reena and three brothers.
Geri Rhys Meyers was only 50 years old.

At first I did wonder why Colin and Cillian were there but in Ireland family is a very big deal, everyone is your family! Its a sweet sentiment. Poor guy and his family.

I really dislike the fact that photos were taken of a funeral. I honestly wasn’t sure the paparazzi could sink much lower, but I was obviously wrong.
