You know…I love Gwen, but I think this outfit looks a bit ridiculous on her. It is too young and even 20-somethings can look a bit silly in babydoll dresses sometimes. Gwen has fantastic style and her body looks better everyday, but I think this one is a miss.

I just met her recently from her tour.. and it wasn’t a meet and greet. We came early to the venue, and she came out and took pictures and talked to us and signed stuff for about 10 minutes, and then when she was on stage she pointed to me and said “oh, I love you, you are definitely my favorite tonight”.. then after she ran through the audience to sing “cool” she came right to me and gave me a hug and signed my new concert shirt that I just bought there. She is so chill and she really loves all her fans and doesn’t take life for granted, she understands that if it wasn’t for her fans, she would still be in Orange County, California.
I don’t think anyone has a problem with her personality Katie. I love the woman- not crazy about the second solo album, but love the first, and love No Doubt. I think Gwen is a great Mom, and though she is probably a Diva in some ways (How could she NOT be after being fawned over for 15 years?), she is also very grateful for her life….I respect her….and think she’s hot.

I think the outfit is great-very mod, which is in right now. I agree that some women can’t pull that off at 40, but if you can, then you should. I love fashion and it’s sad to think that when I hit a certain age I have to start “dressing my age.” How about wearing things that compliment my body and that I feel comfortable in?

I am 37, and in fantastic shape, but there are things I won’t wear- because it’s not appropriate anymore…..dressing like a 22 year old just looks DUMB. Nicolette Sheridan is a perfect example.
