Drivers — your holiday weekend just got a little safer.
Beleaguered pop star Britney Spears showed off her latest ride — a suped up black Escalade — during a day monitored bonding in Beverly Hills with her kids.
As you may recall, Brit’s chauffeuring privileges were suspended last week after the court reviewed paparazzi video of her running a red light with her sons in the car.
In a moment of inexplicable cuteness, photogs snapped eldest son Sean Preston nuzzling up to his mama while en route home during his first day out equipped with a competent driver.
Simply adorable…but don’t tell Britney that — girlfriend was too busy texting away to even notice!

Awwww, that picture is so cute. Sean resting on his moms shoulders. I’m sick of people saying she dosen’t care about her kids. If she truly didn’t care about her kids or truly didn’t want them, she wouldn’t have hired a new driver and is following what the judge is saying. Or hire a PI to dig up dirt on Kevin so she could prove thats hes not a good father. If what you guys are saying is true that she dosen’t care or love her kids. Then answer this, why the hell would she go out of her way and follow the courts orders if she didn’t want her kids? She has the perfect oppurtunity to give the kids to Kevin if she truly didn’t want them and save the hassle of the courts and everything else but no she continues on to fight for the kids. Don’t say because she dosen’t want to look like a bad mother because I’m sure she knows that a lot of people think shes a bad mother so I’m sure she wouldn’t care about what people thought if she admitting she dosen’t want the kids. She hired a PI, she hired a driver and now we see it. We’ve seen hearttouching photos of her with her kids. She LOVES those boys and I’m sticking by that. I’m proud of Britney!

perhaps all parents who have ever had a red light camera ticket should have their driving privileges restricted. of course, this would disclude all the parents who have ran a red light off camera. maybe all red light camera photos ever issued should be reviewed for the presence of children in the car so we can take away their parent’s ability to drive them anywhere. not a good precedent to be setting regardless of anyone’s opinion about britney spears. most parents can’t affford to hire a driver. this is ridiculous!

I think it’s very interesting how their bonding can never be done at home, but HAS to take place in a car. And usually her kids choose to sleep than to interact with her. Because frankly, if you had to look at that blank stare all day, you’d do the same.

Britney only bonds with them in the car…the driver obvisioly just picked them up at kevins house I’m pretty sure hes not driving around for the hell of it. If you go to X17 and put in the search engine Britney Spears you will see how many pictures there are of her bonding with her kids outside infront of her house and in the backyard. You act like you know the god-damn person, you have no idea what she does inside the house. Plus there are a lot of picures that show she spends time with the kids at the house. Why dosen’t Arasto or Perez ever put it up? Good question…because they want her to look like a bad person just like every other media out there. End of story.

Any parent knows that the only time you have to do activities not centred around your child is when they are sleeping. It is ridiculous to use the fact that Brit was texting at the time of her son’s nap as an example of implied neglect as a parent. Do you expect all parents to be glued, eyes on your child 24/7 and beyond without any other responsibilites? I am sure she is well aware that her children are adorable - otherwise if she is the monster you make her out to seem she would instead have pushed his head away to the other side. Or perhaps she is doing it all for the camera, right. If you don’t like Britney, fine, back it up with the umpteen hundred things that she had demonstrated but don’t use some flawed logic when obviously it is bias on your part Arasto.
Why are Britney fans so intense in their support of her that they end up being biased ,and choose any and every excuse to back her up? Its really absurd!!
Why does she need to GO OUT when she has the kids??!?!?!?!!?! Sitting side-by-side in the back of an SUV is absolutely NOT quality time spent with mom for those kids. She’s insane. I want to adopt those kids and show them what a real family is like.

Her, the woman’s not qualified enough to be around the children at night when they’re sleeping. That says something right there. Hired help is actually more qualified to be around her sleeping children. Enough said.

Her, you are obviously 12 years old. But if you must know, I was on the floor playing with my children. I have two boys under three years old. That, my dear, would be the better alternative for Ms. Spears. To get down on the floor, in her own home, and play with her boys. Not to piddle away her precious time with them at a red light. And yes, I’m dropping this. My children are more important than this discussion.

Nicole… It isnt ridiculous. her driving skills are horrible. Granted, she is being followed 24/7 by the paps. Even so- THIS is the smart approach, getting a driver. Running red lights and driving crazy is not safe for her, her kids, or the other innocent drivers around, I don’t care how much you’re being followed. She needed to do this a LONG time ago. I, for one, am glad that she is not on the road.

I hope that hiring a driving ends of being the start of turning things around. I can’t stand when I ride with people who throw their kids in the back w/ the DVD and never say a word to them. Maybe this will give them more interaction time, and if it is just in a car, so what, maybe that’ll just be the first step.
