I can understand a parent not wanting their child to be to precocious in grooming and such, but it seems unfair not to do something about poor Lourdes’ unfortunate appearance. If she’s not being teased, yet, she will be.

Anonymous - I am Italian as well. Many people assosiate the general look of southern Italians with all Italian. Yes far from the truth. They come in black (Somali heritage), brown, tan, beige, blonde hair blue eyes (northern)
When I was 11 and in the 5th grade a lot of female classmates had unibrows and mustaches. I remember girls having hairy legs too! It wasn’t weird. Boys didn’t really care and girls weren’t competing with each other, yet. It wasn’t until we were age 13 in the 7th grade that the girls started grooming theirselves into sex objects so they could attract boys.
When I was 11 I had a uni brow and it didnt start effecting me until I was in grade 8 and my sisters forced me into plucking, its too young to start with that sort of thing, Madonna seems like a really great mom, waaay better then most non-celeb moms, so come on, I support her. How shallow are you that you’re going to attack an 11 year old. The reason why there are so many image problems with young women is because of society attacking a child. Disgusting you guys.
Wow, I had bushy brows as a young girl but this is over the top. Normally, I would agree that she is too young to begin with cosmetics etc. However, I do believe this is a Borat type of unibrow situation and needs immediate attention, specifially a meeting with a bowl of wax.
the rest of her eyebrows are shaped…weird. she’ll be a model someday though. and those eyebrows will be the next big thing.
Well let’s see, this is a girl that gets sent to spas for kids, she gets facials and whatnots worth thousands, spends more on her clothes than I do [and I am by no means from a poor family], and gets the best of pretty much everything when she wants it. I had braces in the 3rd grade already, and started with retainers in the 1st grade, so I don’t see an age problem where the teeth are concerned. However, 11 for waxing is a bit early, I do think that if it bothered her, it would be gone in a flash - as long as she keeps wearing that Kabbalah bracelet, she’s a good kid.

When a child gets braces is strictly dependent on the child’s teeth and the corrective procedure necessary. Some kids need to start early,some kids must wait. There is no standard timetable for orthodontia!

She looks a lot like her mother!! And she’s just a young girl, Madonna probably doesn’t see that it’s necessary for her to be waxing her eyebrows and top lip just yet. It’s a shame that people pick on her about that as its something that a girl of her age shouldn’t have to worry about. She will be gorgeous when she’s grown up!

She is very beautiful and looks a lot like Madonna, unreal. But I don’t think you need to have your daughter be subject to ridicule by not taking care of very unsightly eyebrows and a mustache. It’s just basic grooming, not turning her into a Barbie doll.

Agreed with Hairball. I mean, when I was in the fourth grade, a girl with really disturbing fly-away ears had surgery to have them put back or whatever that’s called. And I asked my father what he would do if I had had ears like that, and he said the same. Kids can be cruel, and these days, looks matter more and more at a younger and younger age (- there’s girls in elementary school turning anorexic!) and I can imagine that having a famous mom, even just coming from a more prestigious family, makes you a big target.
Leave the kids alone. I am done with this site.
