Nicole Kidman departs from the NSW Supreme Court in Sydney Australia on Monday after giving evidence against photographer Jamie Fawcett.
The big screen beauty/tabloid target told a judge how she feared for her life as she was pursued by a paparazzo in a recent high-speed car chase.
She said she was terrified of paparazzi pursuing her in Sydney.
“There were so many occasions, I’ve employed people to protect me now - 24-hour security - I don’t drive myself because I’m too scared [of] being pursued,” she said.
Nicole described how a listening device had been found outside her harbourside Darling Point home, which “deeply disturbed” her.
The only thing more disturbing for Nicole than being followed around by the paparazzi? Not being followed around by the paparazzi.

I love Nicole, I am her fan and I must say that not many stars have the class and glamour she Nicole has. We can only hope that she wont change and will always be this humble and nice. I say this because we all see the history of Britney Spears… years ago she was a sweetie, she was really a road model for many girls and a sex symbol for the boys… and years later she got all FAT, ugly… you name it. Yeah, at least she’s handling the paparazzi in rational ways (unlike Shitney, who desperately needs to hire her tragic self a damn driver). Now Nicole just needs to lay off the Botox for a while.

I think people will be surprised at how bad the paps can be in Australia. It’s kind of sad that Nicole can’t go to her home country and get some peace. But it’s strange because I rarely see paparazzi photos of her, not nearly as many as other celebrities anyway. It must have been scary for her to find that listening device though.
