Moderately successful country singer Kelly Pickler has jaws dropping in a how-low-can-you-go chiffon gown at the 35th annual American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The country bumpkin wasn’t up for any awards (shocking, I know), but we’re sure it was an honour just to not be nominated.
Our thoughts on the American Idol alum’s gown? Classy or trashy?

I absolutely love this dress!! Her body looks fantastic and this is a great way to show it off without looking trashy. I’m not a fan of her hair though…looks a bit odd.

Beautiful and tasteful and drrrrrrreadfully sexy! She’s young and cute and she did it right by pairing a sexy cut with a classic, subdued colour. If she’d worn this dress in say, fuscia, or lime-green, perhaps, THEN it would look over-the-top.

I like the gown, I just don’t like it on Kellie. She’s a young, cute, perky girl–but that’s exactly why this doesn’t really work. Kelly doesn’t naturally ooze the sex appeal needed to carry this look. I could see Penelope Cruz or Salma Hayek in this number, but Kellie? Give me a break.
I think her hair looks attrocious, and her sandals are just not right. Her accessories kinda blow, too.

Marilyn Monroe is in a league of her own. No one can touch her. But Kellie does look beautiful here.
I’m amazed she is getting all this exposure !!! “Just Askin” is 100% correct–the dress is fine but not on her–she needs to stay a bit more “girl next door” and less vamp. She overdid the boob job by about one cup size-a small C would have been about right..

The gown is very typical… every year, every season, every awards show, someone has on something like this. Not impressed but I’m not disappointed… in the morning I won’t remember her gown.

What I meant was that she is another wide eyed girl that came with some talent and looks and is now getting “processed” by the Hollywood machine. First the wide eyed, innocence, then the boobs, then the look at me dress — very desperate attempt to find the love that apparently her mother denied her ( hence her latest song) and her father couldn’t give her (from prison) — I think this one will get chewed up and spit out — just like Marilyn did.

It is obvious that alot of you folks don’t know much about Kellie. She came from a family situation that most of us have never had to experience. ( no Mom and Dad in jail most of the time) her dear Grandma Faye died when Kellie was 15 years old and she was left with only her Grandpa Clyde to take care of her during her high school years. Kellie finished 6th on A.I.5 without any real experience or voice training at all. She is a beautiful, caring , happy Christian woman. When she did a concert at ther N C fair 15,000 loving fans came to see her. After Chris Daughtry, Kelllie is the most successful Idol from year 5 ! ( Kellie probably earned more $ last year that all of us put together)
