Seven bronze Marc Quinn-designed sculptures of Kate Moss are set to fetch over $2 million when they go on display today at the Mary Boone gallery in Manhattan.
Kate apparently approved of the project, though she did not model in the poses depicted — probably because Christy Turlington is the only supermodel who could get into that position!

….this is not about art……….it’s about recongnition…………….that doesn’t look like Kate Moss. If he said the title was ACROBAT, the sculpture is worth 800 dollars at most. To show her as som deity is simply wrong. She does not live the life of an acetic or even promote yoga. This is from the same cynical school of thought that says “Money and fame make a person spiritual better”. It is a form of facism. Same with the “NEW MESSIAH” : child of Jolie Pitt. So are the adopted kids spiritually lesser since they didn’t originally have rich, plastic surgeried parents ?

These sculptings are beyond creepy.
Kate isn’t even tall for a model, leave alone a supermodel. She’s 5′7”. Even though that a little over average, to be qualified as a model, you should be at least 5′9”. Kate isn’t even exotic or anything like that. She was just ”discovered” in the right place, in the right time.
I usually can’t stand modern art, and this isn’t helping lol.

Is this the same guy that did the Britney sculpture? Why would anyone actually want to buy this? I’m sure even Kate Moss herself wouldn’t be interested. I’m all for abstract and different art but this is just kinda tacky to me. But I guess each to their own….someone will probably pay millions for them.
