An unlikely group has emerged as one of the few remaining supporters of Britney Spears – God-fearing Christians!
The disgraced tabloid star is reportedly the top prayer-getter at the Hollywood Prayer Network, a group of more than 5000 Christians that prays for stars instead of writing them off as lost causes.
Members of the network, which has chapters in 16 U.S. cities and eight countries, see Hollywood as the 21st century’s largest mission field and they’re planning a 700-person prayer breakfast in Beverly Hills on Friday.

Not surprising. Remember that Shitney is a republican, who said to the press that no matter what President Bush does, we should support him. I wonder if it were her two sons that were being sent to Iraq to face death if she would still support him.

Hmm I remember reading this study a while back where people who knew they were being prayed for (in recovery from illness) actually did worse than those who weren’t prayed for or who weren’t religious (didn’t care) — sort of like a “performance anxiety”. Its soo not my thing so I shouldn’t even comment but I just thought that was an interesting result and doesn’t bode too well for brit!
I’m not sure where you read that SAS, but the report I have read about the study said the people who were prayed for did better.
Britney needs all the help she can get, praying can’t hurt her but she still needs to get herself together.

Yeah I think that is cool. It’s nice that people still see the good in Britney despite her making so many mistakes the past few years. I honestly think that with a bit of guidance and a more normal lifestyle she would go back to being the Britney that she used to be, she’s just gone off track a little.
