Amy Winehouse was booed off stage during the first night of her new UK tour at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena last night.
During an encore cover of The Zutons Valerie the British soulstress stopped singing, dropped her microphone and walked off the stage.
Wino also dedicated a song to her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently being held on remand pending charges including GBH.
During the show, the 24-year-old told the crowd: “To them people booing, wait ’til my husband gets out of incarceration. And I mean that.”
Audience member Nicola Giorgio told BBC: “I felt sorry for her because she kept crying. Every time she did a song she put ‘Blakey’ or ‘I love my Blakey’ into it, and she changed the song ‘Me and Mr Jones’ into Mr Blakey.”

They need to stop booking her for a while–she is obviously in bad shape and getting worse. No need to just watch her go completely off the rails–just don’t let her perform. Time for promotion people to stop being greedy and start trying to help her. Very sad loss of a talented singer….
I don’t care how good her voice is, she is not being professional. As MikeC said, just stop booking her for some time, until she’s better.
Pretty irresponsible of her management and handlers to allow her to go on stage in this condition. Sure, the business is full of vultures and they’re doing what vultures do, but this has got to be hurting them (and, of course, Amy) more than if they just stopped booking her altogether. She said herself she’s going to die young. RIP Amy - death is standing right over your shoulder.

That is really sad but also I am getting to the point where I want to smack the shit out of her. Someone has some serious man issues to be THAT addicted to someone. She needs to learn how to stand on her own two feet. People go through shit like this all the time and even worse and still manage to hold it together. She is a beautiful writer with a voice that is a true gift and she is taking her fans for granted. You would think she would be happy to have something to throw herself into for a couple hours and not think about “Blakey”. Anyone know how much jail time he stands to get if actually convicted?
Is NOBODY else noticing the nipple popping out of the dress! I thought somebody would comment on that. Everyone is surprised when rock stars get crazy and stupid, umm hello, look how stupid they all turn. Elvis, dead, cobain, dead, morrison, dead, joplin dead, B.I.G. dead, Tupac Dead.. great musicians seem to fall and burn, and it makes their music even hotter when theyre gone. And yeah shes a drug head and crazy but shes TALENTED!!! Who else could perform that good that messed up.

She dies have a fantastic voice but like Pete Doherty she’s also an idiot. Nobody need pity her she’ll sort herself out when she wants to. I think Amy’s stronger than most people think and when she sees what a joke she’s become she might grow up or she might go ‘The Britney Spears Way’ and think she’s never been better….

Ugh how sad. She’s just embarassing herself and screwing up her career. Threatening your audience with your scrawny drug dealer hubby isn’t exactly the best idea either. I feel sorry for her because she’s obviously going through a hard time and nobody deserves to be booed at in my opinion, but seriously I would be pissed if I had paid to go and see her cry on stage and change up all the songs.
