Paris Hilton took the promotion train to the Macy’s store in Philadelphia, PA today where throngs on fans lined up to meet her.
The first 200 customers to shell out $55.00 for the new perfume, named CAN CAN Paris Hilton, got a chance to meet the shameless self-promoter and get her autograph.
Meanwhile, Paris’ controversy du jour involves some naughty love letters from her past. Her teenage crush is threatening to go public with love letters she wrote to him a decade ago.
James McCauley claims he spent time with Paris at the Provo Canyon School in Orem, Utah in 1998 and says the former felon was madly in love with him and wrote him intimate letters.
Parts of James’ letters are featured in the upcoming issue of Life & Style magazine.
The now 25-year-old former flame of Miss Hilton tells the glossy: “I was stoked because she was attracted to me. She reached out to me and asked my advice on how to cope with being in such a regimented place. There was a lot of attraction. We both felt it… She thought I was cute.”
In the letters, Paris wrote that boys had no respect for her and that she needed therapy to overcome a series of childhood demons.

I’m not Paris Hilton’s number one fan, but she doesn’t deserve her private letters being printed for the whole world to read. That is really really low of that guy and if he had any respect for the time they spent together and for her he wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing. I feel sorry for her as I hate people invading my privacy…don’t even like my boyfriend opening up my mail!
