Jon Bon Jovi could be planning one day to run for governor of New Jersey. That’s why he’s keeping his house in Red Bank, even though he and his wife, Dorothea, and their four kids have moved to SoHo. That’s why he performs regularly at fund-raisers for Democrats like Al Gore and John Kerry. And that’s why he hired p.r. guru Ken Sunshine, who was once the chief of staff for ex-Mayor David Dinkins. “Jon has been approached many times about running for office,” said Sunshine, who denied the rocker has any political plans. “His day job is going too well, and this way he can keep the house.”
While I’m the last person who believes self righteous celebs should get involved in politics, a little eye candy in public office may be just what America needs. I mean, have you seen Condoleezza Rice lately?

That would be great!! He seems like a really nice guy and a very well educated man…not to mention he’s easy on the eyes! I was really touched with his work through Oprah’s Angel Network to help out Katrina victims and he really did a lot of work down there that went unnoticed as well. It’s not about publicity for him, its about helping out. I hope this isn’t a rumor, I’d like to see what he could do.
Yes go into politics and see if that “clean” image does not get dirty.
