Going from emo to primo in less than 4.5 seconds, Ashlee Simpson leaves jaws dropped to the floor as she graces the red carpet at The 2007 CosmoGIRL! Born to Lead Awards in New York City on Tuesday.
The lip-syncing sensation is being honoured for her off-the-charts fabulousness!
She’s dating Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz (who was also in attendance), proved her naysayers wrong by wowing ‘em as Roxie Hart in London’s production of Chicago last fall and has a brand new “fun party album†(her words!) coming out early next year.
Other celebs at the soiree included Raven Symone , American Idol alum Jordin Sparks, and, of course, Papa Joe Simpson.

Oh please, it’s just a little nosejob. If it makes her feel better and less concious about how she looks, then by all means. Don’t tell me that most of you wouldn’t do the same if there was something about your looks that made you uncomfortable in your own skin. And it’s just a nose, it’s not like she completely changed the way she looks like so many others have done. Sometimes peple can be so hypocritical. Celebrities have feelings too, and she probably couldn’t deal with the pressure of always hearing that she could be such a pretty girl, but her nose didn’t quite fit into Hollywood standards. Not everyone is cut out to listen to that crap and stay uneffected. She is young and insecure, cut her some slack. She is still a decent kid with her life in order.
Lol she’s clearly had more than “just a little nosejob” and since when did vanity trump character anyway? Its sick that all these cookie cutter blondes are seen as the pinnacle of attractiveness and a “little bit” of cosmetic surgery is justified. She’s a no talent waste of space.
BeeJeeBus I think you’re great but for you to say “celebs have feelings too” in defence of this loser when you can be quite vicious towards other young stars is the definition of hypocritical! I understand we all have our celeb weaknesses but man you’re backing a lame horse here!
I think Ashlee looks gorgeous! Beautiful, natural looking makeup and her hair looks nice too. So what if she had a nose job? It’s done wonders for her looks and probably her self esteem as well. I don’t see what the big deal with cosmetic surgery is…as long as you don’t go overboard. And it’s sad that everyone can’t let go of her lip synching fiasco, I’m sure she has. Every other time I’ve heard her sing its been live and she’s been pretty good. Give the girl a break!
