At a press conference at Gotham Hall in New York City today, Jennifer Garner and Dean Cane join the American Lung Association in a new role as national spokespersons for the Association’s Faces of Influenza education campaign.
As one of the many “faces” of influenza, they will encourage families to speak with their health-care providers about annual influenza vaccination.
Says Jen: “Women play an important role in a family. It’s our job to take care of those we love, that’s why I make sure my family is protected against influenza. As one of the many Faces of Influenza, you and I and those close to us need to get vaccinated. Influenza is not the common cold. It’s serious.”
Ick…a celebrity getting inovlved in my healthcare does not bode well with me. Jen and Dean should just stick to making second-rate action flicks.

Dean is still hot. I wish he did more movies or TV these days. With as little clothing as possible. *drool!*
Awh, i used to think he was SO hot, still is but not getting better with age.
It is pretty bad when a movie star has to tell someone to get a flu shot. What in the hell?
Dean’s last name is “Cain,” not “Cane.” Trust me–his dad is a distant cousin.
Jennifer is so vanilla pudding, can’t they find someone who actually makes you want to look and listen to them..
haha jennifer is such a nerd, i love her.
i still think dean cain is cute.
Her sweater looks totally like the sweater I just got at Kohls. WTF she’s wearing a
kohls sweater.
She looks like a tranvestite in the last picture.
Flu shots are NOT good for you.

Unfortunately these celebs have obviously not researched the flu shot. They have rushed to put their names behind something that has possibly caused more harm than good. I lost my mother to that shot, and I have little respect for anyone who pushes profits over people. I have never taken the shot and I have not had the flu in 9 years while my mother suffered flu, pneumonia and strokes after every shot. She never had trouble with flu prior to those fateful days and she eventually died of a massive stroke. We think we know it all don’t we until one day we wake up and see the truth. Unfortunately it is too late for many of us. Investigate before you vaccinate.
