Angie Harmon took a day off from filming her new television series Women’s Murder Club to chat with Shape magazine in which she is featured in the December issue.

Here are some highlights from the actress’ interview:

With two kids and a more-than-full-time job, Angie has trouble getting to the gym or finding an hour to go for a run. Her solution? “I try to think of weekend activities that involve Jason and the kids as much as possible,” she says. That includes long bike rides, swimming, hiking, and jumping on the backyard trampoline.

Angie may have been born with genes on her side (both of her parents are former models), but even so, she knows she has to stay on track when it comes to her diet. For Angie, that means eating small amounts of the Southern-style comfort foods she loves. “People have a misconception of Southern food. They think we deep-fry hamburgers and then put marshmallow cream on top of them!” says the Dallas native. “But our food is about big flavor, not huge amounts of grease or fat. And when food tastes good, you don’t need giant servings to feel satisfied.”

To ensure healthy eating, the family sticks to an all-organic diet, avoiding sugar (or “L-O-L-L-I-P-O-P-S,” as Angie spells out in front of her daughters) whenever possible. “I even dilute the girls’ apple juice,” she says. Sure, every now and then they get a bite of birthday cake at a friend’s party. “It’s hilarious,” says Angie. “They’re like Tasmanian devils whirling around the room. You can definitely tell these girls don’t eat sugar very often!”

I think she is pretty and I liked her on Law & Order, but I just don’t like Womans Murder Club, it bores me.

Angie Harmon: how she got this body

    Photoshop!

Of course she eats an organic diet, and is very physically active, and has good genes… you don’t needa gym or trainer, when you have all that in your favor!

  5. Wayne Says:

Er… she looks like a seriously Photoshopped stick. In need of a good meal.

  6. Miss Says:

She is pretty, she has very classy look but her body is too skinny.

  7. EAT IT Says:

^That is what I was thinking. I guess she wants her daughters to be anorexic just like Mommy. I think she has a gross body. I saw her on Kimmel awhile back and she came off really stupid and she looked like a bobble head.

Yadda Yadda Yadda biking running jumping Yadda yadda Yadda.. And oh I forgot.. My best friend LIPO!!!

  14. aussiechick Says:

She is very very skinny. Those collarbones could slice bread. Might look ok in photos but imagine cuddling up to that at night? forget it. She might snap clean in two.

  15. Chelseah Says:

You’d think that with all the photoshopping on that cover they’d make her bellybutton smaller. I think she looks like a bobbleheaded puker to me. I’m sure being married to ex-football player Jason Sehorn, he expects her to be the perfect trophy wife.

  16. nona Says:

amazing that after two pregnancies, there’s not a stretch mark on her. it’s a miracle!

  17. MikeC... Says:

And yet another major Photoshop job–i’m begining to think a law needs to be passed to prevent PS being used for publication pictures. Seems like the pap pic’s are the only ones not “fixed” and sometimes I wonder about those.

That’s good that she watches what her kids eat, sure it may suck for them now but they will be thanking her later. My parents rarely had snack food in the house and I only ever remember getting McDonald’s on special occasions. I used to love it when I went to a friend’s house and had chocolate and chips haha! I owe my mom a lot though because due to the fact that I didn’t become accustomed to that sort of food I never really have cravings for high-fat and sugar products now that I’m older. It’s not being mean, its caring about your children’s health!
Angie is looking fantastic, her bikini is a little tacky looking though.

  19. Agustina Says:

She looks good for a mother of two.

  20. star Says:

So no sugar. If everyone understood that Bally’s would be broke. Just like Visa would be if we didn’t spend more than we make.
