This is proof that even if Brit-Brit had practiced her ass off, the performance would not have been spectacular enough to open up an award show.
No pyro. No snakes. No nothing. Just some highly choreographed hip-gyrating that simply doesn’t cut it nowadays.

It may not be amazing but, it was a hell of a lot better then what was actually done!
I think it would have looked really good with the lighting and costumes- just shows you how much brit really brought them down!

It may not be good enough to open an awards show, but her stand in was much, much more into the performance than Brit. If Ms. Spears had looked like she gave a damn and stuck her moves a little better, all would’ve been okay.
The main woman still didn’t do much in terms of choreography.

Not a surprise. Her act was an insult to the other performers who could have opened the show. Kanye has an ego alright, but he was RIGHT. It should have been him or Rihanna or just about anybody else.

This is the same dance that Britney did, the only difference is that she wasn’t as energetic with the moves and was lacking in confidence. It’s a shame that the performance bombed, as it had the potential to be really good. I think she was extremely nervous and tired and she should never have made her comeback doing something that had that much weight hanging over it.
#1 I think its funny that they the stand in was the same size as Britney. #2 I was feeling the dance until the end when they started doing the Michael Jackson Thriller Zombie Arm thing, that was STUPID.
I don’t think this is the ORIGINAL choreography. It seems pretty close to what was done the night of the show, and the original was supposed to have Criss Angel’s mirrors and such.

Brit totally phoned it in. She sucked plain & simple but Grannytranny (i love just saying that) is right, somebody..ANYBODY else should have opened the show. Brits routine had all the energy of soggy toast.
The stand-in is miles ahead of britney in this performance but the choreography is shit. My grandmother could do those moves.
This song sucks. It’s not fast enough for interesting dance moves. The choreography’s a snooze because the song is.
ditto grannytranny… but on top of that, these moves are lame. It’s not a bad song, just typical pop crap that no one will remember in 25 years (or less), but the choreography could have been a lot better… so it’s an insult to the dancers, but it’s even more of an insult to dance as an art form… !
Actually it looks pretty good….Britney simply screwed the whole dance routine up!!! That’s why it sucked so bad!

Yeah, it’s not that great. But I think if she’d practiced at all and worn something that fit properly and covered her less toned areas (like a corset or something), everyone would have been raving about how great it was to see her back on top. Before, I think people kind of wanted to see her succeed. I even saw it from the gossip blog commenters! If her hootenanny was covered and her weave was halfway groomed, they’d say “Wow, dare I say she almost looks cute here?” If she’d given them something to work with, there were some fans left who’d have supported her. But it’s like a bad relationship! You can only make excuses for so long. :p
Y’all can come up with all the lame excuses you want to - like a breaking heal BUT I’ve seen Beyonce have a heel come completely off and she still finishes the dance without missing a beat.
Britney was ill prepared and instead of working her ass off to get prepared she took the lazy route and it showed in her performance.
She’s done, she’s a side show freak now, that is all. Too bad there isn’t some billionaire in Bahrain waiting to take her in so we don’t have to hear from her anymore (maybe Michael Jackson will make room for her when her boys get a lil older).
