As a flat-chested, hairy-legged Chaz Bono returned from the gym on Wednesday afternoon (November 25) with even more exercise equipment, all physical female attributes seem to have disappeared from his body.
Mr. Bono’s trashcans were filled with picket signs from recent events of activism in support of gay rights. Though gender re-assignment will make Chaz a man, he will still not be able to marry his girlfriend under the failed passing of California’s Marriage Protection Act.
Despite that, has the physical and emotional strain of changing genders taken Bono’s focus off of the rights of his fellow gay Americans?
