Tom Cruise was up until the wee hours of the morning last night (November 23) filming scenes for his upcoming film, Knight and Day.

Toting a handgun, the 47-year-old actor was all business as he shot a chase scene on the rooftops of Salzburg, Austria.

Later Tom could be seen leaping from a window ledge of a building, flying through the air upside down — his fall softened by safety mats.

The action-comedy, also starring Cameron Diaz, centres on a lonely woman (Diaz) whose seemingly harmless blind date suddenly turns her life upside-down when a super spy, played by Cruise, takes her on a violent worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source.
