Dressed in a coat with various country-specific patches adhered to it, the 39-year-old actor was dressed in character as David Norris, a charismatic congressman who seems destined for national political stardom.
In the an upcoming contemporary love story, Matt’s character meets a beautiful ballet dancer played by Emily Blunt, only to find strange circumstances keeping their sparks from catching fire. He later discovers forces are at work to keep them apart, and he peels the layers to find out why.
Meanwhile, Matt’s red hot career is only getting hotter. Not only did he recently finish filming Invictus with director Clint Eastwood, but he has just signed on to star in Clint’s next flick, Hereafter. In it he plays a soft-spoken factory worker who sees dead people. The film is due out in December 2010. Invictusis set to open next month. Oscars to follow….
