I saw him at Whole Foods in San Francisco a while back. He was trying to do incognito, grungy beard/ski cap pulled down low, etc., but I’d recognize that chin and jaw anywhere. He had a really nice aura about him, and you could tell he was really hoping no one noticed him. So glad he’s not with Julia, who can really say, but I’m pretty sure he’s way too good for her.
He hasn’t been around for a while has he? Seriously the last thing I remember him being in was Miss Congeniality. He looks a lot better now than he did then.

Maybe its just what you’re watching Stephi. He is in a series on USA and I think he’s in that new movie Love in the time of Cholera (which has to be the worst title ever but reminds of me Serendipity so I’m sure I’ll see it).
press, do you have any Idea of what is “Love in the time of Cholera”. It has to do with words, literature, magical realism, nobel prices….other cultures where language serves for other things different than blogging….
I’m not excited for the movie. I wish it were made entirely in Spanish… but hey, can’t fail with Javier Bardem right? It’s a beautiful book, I’ve read it in both Span. & Eng., and heartily recommend it (the English version is perfectly fine- it manages to capture Marquez’s talent with words– which one of my friends likes to call “a literary orgasm” ;o). Benjamin Bratt is really good looking… although I’ve never heard of his wife. Is she an actress?
Yeah, his wife is a model turned actress. She’s actually very nice. I used to wait on her and her then-boyfriend Costas Mandylor many years ago in LA. He was a bit of a Hollywood cheese (but nice) but she was always very kind and gracious. I really think these two are on par with Seal and Heidi for being a real life fairy-tale/soul-mate kinda love story.

Everytime I see them together, I laugh because they look so much alike. To me they could be brother and sister. But I think they make a good looking couple. She has been around for forever. I remember her in fashion mags way back when and she was pretty in a different way, an ethnic way instead of the typical blonde model. You can tell she’s aged but still looks good, and Benj will always look good to me.
