Kate Beckinsale spent hours inside the Byron Tracy Salon in Los Angeles yesterday (November 19) while her poor little pup sat in the car the whole time.
The 36-year-old British actress also left all the windows up, no water, his leash and harness on, which could kill a poor little guy if the weather gets hot enough, which southern California is known for, even in winter.
PETA might have a bone to pick with Mrs. Beckinsale once they hear about this!!

Yes, but was it hot enough to kill? Kate definitely isn’t dressed like it’s hot outside. I mean, I’ve left my dog in the car, with collar and leash on with the windows up, when it’s not hot enough for the windows to be down. My dog simply sits in the front seat and happily watches the world go by. She loves being in the car.
Go ahead and call the cops, if you must, but they’d have no case against me.
And if the dog is fine being in the car and watching the goings on for a couple of hours (and is safe there–not too hot, and is happy and comfortable, etc.), than what’s the difference between that and being home in a crate? Personally, my dog is happier in the car, then at home in the crate (where I don’t leave water either).
I am a strong supporter of taking good care of dogs, but this is bad journalism that tries to get people upset.
Why didn’t she just take him in with her? Most salons don’t care. Especially in CA. Paris takes her *insert current fashion accessory here* in with her everywhere.
That being said, I have left my pups out in the car before for a few minutes. Not for several hours though. I’d be too afraid someone would get in there and steal them.

FYI: there is so much toxic airborne pollution in non-eco salons and it is not even healthy for humans, never mind animals who have much more sensitive noses. Animals should be left at HOME - not in the car and certainly not taken to hair/nail salons.
(a) Kate doesn’t drive. So if anyone left the mutt in the car for hours it wasn’t her.

I saw this on another gossip site and it stated that she was waiting for a car to come and collect her so I doubt that she left the dog in the car for hours it prob came with her to the salon and then went home while she got her hair done
