In this month’s much anticipated film The Lovely Bones, Rachel Weisz plays a mother coming apart at the seams.
The British actress stars on the upcoming December cover of REDBOOK and reveals in the interview whether she’ll ever get married, her fears and what she’s learned from being a mom.
Scroll down for some highlights!

Rachel on whether she’ll ever marry her fiance, director Darren Aronofsky: “We are engaged, and Darren and I are completely committed to ‘until death do us part,’ although we haven’t made it official with the paperwork yet. It’s not for any political reason or that we’re waiting for this or for that, but maybe one day we will have an official ceremony.”
Rachel on being described as fearless by The Lovely Bones director Peter Jackson: “Really? Because I feel quite scared quite often. For example, taking on the role of Blanche in Streetcar, a role Vivien Leigh and other great actresses have portrayed, was absolutely terrifying. But fear makes life more interesting.”
Rachel on what she’s learned from her son, Henry: “To sing and joke more—he has an unbelievable sense of humor. I’ve learned more patience; he’s definitely taught me to go more with the flow. I’ve also definitely fallen even more in love with his father. Henry’s also reinforced how little I know about science. He recently asked me how a battery works, and I had absolutely no idea. I usually say, ‘Why don’t you ask your dad?’”

Such great roles wasted on this woman just because she sleeps with a famous director.
Hey “Anonymous”, you’re an Idiot.
Getting back to reality and not petty jealousy from “Anonymous”, Rachel looks great and i can’t wait for “The Lovely Bones”. She’s such a great actress.
Rachel is a amazing actress, probably one of the best actress of our time. Saw her in London while she was performing in the play “Streetcar Named Desire” and she brought the house down with her powerful performance.
