Britney Spears and Kevin Federline may have been too lazy (or hungover) to show up at their latest round of legal wranglings, but FYB has a blow-by-blow update of what went down.
As you may recall, K-Fed is accusing Britney of not responding in a timely fashion to calls from the testing facility for her court-ordered random drug tests.
So, what was Britney’s pathetic excuse? Get this — her lawyer Anne Kylie calls the testing facility “corrupt” and the facility’s head a “liar”!! Them is fighin’ words!
But it seems Brit’s biggest problem is the time at which the facility calls. Explains Kylie: “She’s a pop star and you can’t expect her to be awake at 7 or 8 in the morning.” Or 10, 11 or 12 for that matter….
So, what was the judge’s response? He (rightly) said that “this isn’t about who’s a rock star… We’re all bending over backwards to get her to behave like ordinary people.”
Also a problem is Britney’s apparent cell phone issues. She’s always changing phones, forwarding her number and getting assistants to answer and then hang up. Very mature, Brit!
As it stands now, the court is in recess. If you ask me, the result of today’s session will mean changing testing facilities and creating a dedicated phone line between Britney and the facility.
Talk about catering to the stars!!

Why should she be awake anonymous? Because she is trying to get custody of her kids back. If the court tells you to play hopscotch on tacks you do it if it gets on one step closer to keeping your kids.
aussiechick and jonas are right- she should be FIGHTING for those kids- going ABOVE AND BEYOND whatever the judge orders. she’s disgusting and there is no way in the world she should get custody of those kids. After all this misinformation she’ll be found in contempt of court soon if she’s not lucky- i think she’s really starting to piss the judge off!
