Check out video Jennifer Lopez announcing her pregnancy at last night’s concert in Miami.
The crowd reaction is priceless!
Now if only J.Lo would dish about whether she’s expecting one or two bundles of joy!

because we couldn’t tell by her size and the muu muus she’s been wearing.

what a bunch of screaming idiots in that audience - it’s just a pregnancy - millions of them going on around the world at this very moment
November 8th, 2007 at 8:30 am
I just can’t believe anyone actually gives a rats ass.

this is so lame! why was everyone screaming and getting so excited over something we all already knew? who cares??
November 8th, 2007 at 9:07 am
Because obviously it these people are at a Mark and J Lo concert then they are fans of theirs. So wouldn’t a normal reaction for the crowd that is there with them be to scream and yell? It makes sense to me. I think most already knew but she made the announcement to them, the crowd. Supernova, you have to remember that these are fans of hers, if you were at a concert for a group or performer that you absolutely loved and that performer made an happy announcement of some kind, you would just sit there and not say anything?? I highly doubt that. People at concerts usually yell and scream. I think that is what is wrong with society. I don’t know, I have had children so I know how exciting being pregnant is. So it’s not JUST a pregnancy. Why can’t people just be happy for others instead of always saying who cares? Maybe if more people cared in this world things wouldn’t be so crappy. Now I will get down off my soapbox, sorry. I am not a J Lo fan, but just dont’ think that it’s something to be grumpy about.

^^^Pak31 - nicely said. Being a fan of both I’m very happy for them!!!

@Pak31
Well said.

Pak31. I understand what you’re saying, but we’re clearly very different people. I don’t go to concerts - hate them with a passion. Being in a crowd of thousands of screaming people is not my idea of a great night (nor do I scream with lunacy at somebody performing on stage - I kind of outgrew that in my teens - literally). But I also don’t give a rats behind about people announcing their pregnancies as if it’s something the whole world is supposed to celebrate. Having a baby has been done billions of times — it’s not a miracle nor is it new. Big deal. Practically anyone can get knocked up. Raise the kid to be a productive, intelligent member of society and THEN you’ve got my cheers and congratulations.

^and before people start spitting out “you’ve never had kids so what would you know” statements — I HAVE experienced been pregnant. And I HATED people sticking their two-cents into my body and my life-decision about my pregnancy — far as I was concerned, it was none of their fucking business. So, I’ve worn the shoe on BOTH feet and my opinion and reaction is just the same in either case. To each his own.

^And the reason people say “who cares” is because they genuinely DON’T care. Why can’t you understand that Pak31. People genuinely may not care about your pregnancy, your children or you. It doesn’t even mean you’re a bad person or that they’re mean or bad. You’re just not apart of their frame reference or interesting to them in any way (other than for fodder). I think it’s the degradation of society that people like you seem to want to FORCE people to care as if it’s wrong to think differently. Not caring is not a crime (and, whether you accept it or not, having a baby is literally one of the MOST COMMON occurrences in the WORLD which makes it ordinary by definition). I have people I care about for whom I would be happy. Jennifer Lopez (and her husband, Skeletor) is not one of them. I make no apologies for that. Period.

^the “fodder” statement was in regards to J. Lo, not Pak31 (as in the reason people make statements on gossip sites about celebrities is for fodder). sorry about the long post.

I don’t comment very often but I just have to agree with everything “supernova” has said. Very well said!
November 8th, 2007 at 11:53 am
supernova is just a hater. moving on…
November 8th, 2007 at 11:57 am
And you, Anonymous are just a loser… NOW moving on…
November 8th, 2007 at 12:22 pm
supernova, very well put! I expecially appreciated your comment regarding people actually raising their kids to be “productive, intelligent members of society” as being something to get excited about. and as for Jello and Skellator, what high horse are they riding on…good GOD they annoy me! I should’ve had the volume down a little lower when I played this cause when that chick in the audience started screeching my cat about jumped through the ceiling it scared the crap outta her so bad.
November 8th, 2007 at 12:24 pm
thanks crumbly — i figured I’m probably in the minority, but i’d rather get excited for what BECOMES of the human being being born than just for the sheer fact that they are here (especially when you look at half the nut cases and miserable people out there and in the media now).
November 8th, 2007 at 1:55 pm
that’s RIGHT. guess you ARE in the minority.
November 8th, 2007 at 2:04 pm
I am a happy person. Therefore, I am happy for them. But those are just words, I don’t actually feel it ;o).
November 8th, 2007 at 3:04 pm
Anonymous, and I’m confident enough and pretty damned fucking happy to be in the minority darling (especially since your dumb ass is CLEARLY a part of the majority). But people like you, who seek the approval of everyone else will NEVER understand that. You are ordinary, average and, yes, anonymous.
November 8th, 2007 at 3:31 pm
Its always nice to hear that a happy couple is expecting a child. MAKES me giddy!
November 9th, 2007 at 7:28 am
Being happy for someone who’s been wanting to have a baby for a while and happens to be in the spotlight DOESN’T equate to me seeking “the approval of everyone else”, dipshit. I was having some fun making FUN of you capitalizing certain WORDS and seeming so angry about J.Lo being preggers. Get a life and find something MORE constructive to do. Cheers

wow - supernova has come bitching today.
