Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes beam in at the Lions for Lambs premiere at The Uptown Theater in Washington, DC on Wednesday.
The couple has been on a marathon of a promotional campaign in recent weeks, taking their spaceship from Rome to Berlin to Paris to California to New York before finally descending upon The Evergreen State.

How are they creepy? Just because their religion is different to yours? I think that’s a bit immature. Nobody really knows which religion is ‘right’ so you can’t really judge. Religion shouldn’t define whether somebody is a good person or not. I think Tom and Katie seem like a really nice couple and great parents. She looks beautiful here and I agree with you mel…gorgeous skin and nice natural makeup.
They r creepy not solely becoz of their religion. Its just the way they, he especially, carry themselves. Its the really absurd opinions he has, and which he so arrogantly assumes is right and shd be followed by everyone. And just the way he likes to ”present” her at every occasion makes it even more awkward. They are an awkward couple…almost like they’re putting on a show for everyone.

Religion has nothing to do with it. He’s a dumpy douche bag who is so in love with himself that his ego has actually turned within and has started eating itself, she defies explanation…a B-list celebrity at best, if she hadn’t married this guy she’d be starring on Surreal Life by now.

Based on Anonymous comment and then Jo Ann’s we should be hating on everyone all the time no matter what. Ok he has opinions. They don’t match yours…welcome to the world. And name me one person in show business that isn’t stuck on themselves. And if people were saying the things about another religion (cult standing optional) the way they talk about Scientology absolutely everyone would be calling for the comments to be deleted.

Audrey, you assert that everyone is allowed their own set of beliefs and opinions - Tom Cruise included. So why can’t you afford the same to people who think that the Cruises come across (to some) as creepy? They have the right don’t they? Or is that reasoning only valid for those whom you wish it to apply to? Accept the fact they creep some people out, and go on - life will be easier for you.
