Joined by the likes of Colbie Caillat and Maria Shriver, a festive Gwen Stefani attended a party celebrating the release of the A Very Special Christmas 7 album at private residence in Malibu last night (November 16).
The first A Very Special Christmas compilation was released over twenty years ago featuring songs from Whitney Houston, Madonna and Sting. Now, the seventh holiday collection to benefit the Special Olympics is being released featuring music from stars like Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood and Miss Caillat herself.
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, who just released her debut single with Robin Thicke, contributes a cover of Christmas (Baby Please Come Home), and Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso contributes Jingle Bell Rock to the album.
The album hits stores on November 23.
Meanwhile, Gwen and her No Doubt bandmates are currently embroiled in a lawsuit against the makers of ‘Band Hero.’
The suit contends the game “transformed No Doubt band members into a virtual karaoke circus act,” and the use of the band members’ avatars far exceeded anything agreed upon in the contract. One aspect of the game allows players to manipulate their characters into singing songs by other artists, for example having lead singer Gwen Stefani sing Honky Tonk Woman by the Rolling Stones, a song boasting about having sex with prostitutes.

What the hell is Gwen wearing? And you can see what a normal sized girl Colbie Caillat is when she’s standing next to exercise freak Gwen Stefani.
What a heinous jacket! I suppose it’s one of Gwennie’s own designs. Figures–it’s hideous.
