NONSHOCKER OF THE DAY: BRITNEY IS MENTAL!

britney-is-mental.jpg

Britney Spears’ latest $18,200 shopping spree at the Crystal near L.A. amid a nasty custody battle and endless legal battles has fans baffled. Where are the girl’s priorities?

There has been constant speculation. Is it drugs? Alcohol? Sam Lutfi?

Nope — Us Weekly claims Britney has gone mental!

Sources say the troubled pop star does not seem to grasp the gravity of her custody case, and they blame her bizarre public behavior (swapping clothes with a stranger, among her recent moves) on psychological issues, not drugs.

“It’s not substance abuse — it’s mental!” a confidante tells Us.

Pals suspect adult-onset ADD or depression, with one friend saying, “Postpartum has always been a problem” after giving birth to Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

So, she’s crazy.

Well, that certainly explains the hair and ridiculous outfits.

Actually it is three things. 1. Drugs 2. Mental Illness 3. Low IQ

Plus one other thing: huge unwarrented success!

Damn when Janice Min has a bone to pick…she really has a bone to pick. Don’t piss off Mrs. Min! Yes, Britney is trashy and stupid and a bad mother, but do we need to see her on US weekly close to every week? Janice has been shoving her down our throats.

What is wrong with our society when Britney gets a big huge picture for being a basketcase and Jennie Garth who is leading a seemingly normal/happy life with a good marriage and happy children gets a little square. Must we ALWAYS go slow and look at the car wreck?

OR and this is just my opinion but maybe she’s just an irresponsible brat. I’m just throwing that one out there.

who needs professionals? we (posters on this site) have been saying she’s in desperate needs of mental help for months. isn’t it obvious?

  11. November-7-2007 @ 12:45 pm

i think her mental illness is obvious, but that it’s a result of her being a whopping moron and drug abuser.

she started out with a cheap little Kmart brain and then she threw it down the stairs too many times.

She seriously needs to get mental help, on a drug program, and then go back to school. I would hate it if my Mom was such an idiot that she seriously couldn’t even carry on a conversation. I would bet anything that not one of her children will ever attend college. I don’t even think Britney has a GED let alone a high school diploma.

Barks…it’s because Shitney is what sells. Jennie Garth may be a shining example of stability, good parenting, etc. but nobody can fill a magazine with an articles as short as “Jennie Garth isn’t crazy, leads a normal life, is a good parent and has a happy marriage. Ummmm…that’s all.” People will always love the spectacle of the rich, famous and crazy fucking up and crashing and burning in public. I mean let’s be honest…nobody goes to all these celebrity blog sites to read about how happy, healthy and boring “stars” are.

Sad but true, Droopy Boobs. I was thinking of that too as I skimmed over the boring posts and go straight for the freaky-deaky ones.

I hate how people make it a joke that she’s crazy. If it was your best friend who was doing these things because of mental illness would you be laughing about them? I would hope not. Britney has obviously got depression. She’s had that for a long time and I think Post Partum is also very likely. She had her babies close together and that can often set it off. She could also have other problems there as well. She’s passing her drug tests and I doubt that alcohol would make her do the things she is doing. Give her a break.

Stephi if that was my best friend I’d be at the courthouse begging the judge to commit her and get her the help she needs. If she is truly depressed, surely it was diagnosed at Promises, I refuse to think they’d release her without the basic tools to handle it. She has no one but herself to blame for her manic behavior.

I’m more interested on reading about Jennie Garth than about Britney Spears. That bitch is crazy. And she’s over.

Nothing to say except there’s no such thing as adult-onset ADHD. You can be diagnosed as an adult, sure, but it’s not like it actually develops during adulthood. I agree with others that it’s likely post-partum or maybe even bipolar disorder. Not that it’s even that interesting anymore.

She was on a self-destructive, self-indulgent downhill slide long before the babies were born. She’s had endless opportunities to pull herself together, and financial resources the average person can only dream of. Why on earth should anyone feel sorry for her? If I’m going to cut anyone slack, it’ll be the unknown people who struggle with mental illness and can’t afford health insurance or decent treatment of any kind, much less have money to throw away on cars and chandeliers and Starbucks mocha grandes.
