In what is likely yet another symptom of her declining Hollywood status, Lindsay Lohan hooked up with D-list extraordinaire extraordinaire at the preview of Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring 2010 Handbag and Ready-to-Wear line at Satine in Los Angeles last night (November 13).

The unlikely twosome were joined by fellow nobody Stephanie Pratt as they checked out the latest designs in handbags and apparel by the contemporary American designer.

Meanwhile, despite the empty look in her eyes, Lindsay tells E! that “I’ve never been happier in my life,” adding: “As long as my mom, my sister and my brother are happy, then I’m good.”

That said, it appears her only support system at this time is her 14-year-old siister. A souce close to LiLo tells Fox News: “Lindsay lives out of a lot of hotels these days and if her sister, Ali is staying with her, Lindsay wants her to sleep in the same room. She’ll get two rooms, but put all the clothes and luggage in one room. She needs the support and love that having Ali around gives her. Having Ali by her side gives her comfort and she likes to think she is also protecting Ali.”
